The backers of the controversial “Ground Zero Mosque” have won a court fight clearing the way for them to build the mosque and community center complex two blocks from the site of the 9/11 terror attack.
In a decision on Friday that was made public today, New York State Supreme Justice Paul Feinman dismissed a lawsuit by former firefighter Timothy Brown who argued that New York City was wrong to allow the destruction of a 150-year-old building to make way for the Islamic center.
The ex-firefighter who was among those who responded to the terror attack on the World Trade Center said the old building had been struck by debris during the collapse of the twin towers and was a “living representative of the heroic structures that commemorate the events of that day.”

IIRC there is an ancient sacred Native-American burial ground at this location. A commission is being formed as we speak. An careful and meticulous archeological excavation will reveal priceless objects. Great care must be taken to see they are not damaged. Each grain of dirt moved will require an environmental impact study.
Herman Cain made that very point in reference to the Mufreesboro mosque fight. Now the MSM is going after him about it, but he was the only one to speak what we all know.

One day this man will stand before a righteous Judge and be found to lack standing -and told he has received the reward he sought in this world -so judgement is what he will receive in the next. My suggestion would be for Patriotic Americans to build their Victory Mosque and cultural center but to so do it that any conversation louder than sign language would be recorded and broadcast -and no visual act unrecorded. Another option would be to include the rendings of pigs throughout the structure —or better to so construct it by Union standard that when the Victory celebration occurs the Samson effect causes the entire structure to implode killing as many Muslim and those Judges and mere politicians who embraced our enemy rather than defend America—as possible (in the falling of this tower of Babel)
Separation of church and state is NOT codified in our Constitution. Where did you get the idea it was?
“No mosque at ground zero” stickers are on all the hardhats in lower Manhattan. What will they do when concrete suppliers refuse to sell them?

Yes it is and in direct conflict with the US Constititution. But it is more than this...it IS a representative of 'Islam conquering our country'...just like placing a flag on foreign soil. It is a claim on our country For Islam.....just as they have been doing for centuries.
It is frightening that our politicians are completely ignorant of Isalm and what it is. A religion it is not...except to the Islamic governing powers to keep it's people in submission.... while it moves across our nation taking their 'political agenda' into our courts and filling government positions with their people. And this in the Whitehouse, throughout Washington, Statewide, and even in small communities.
