Steve Wynn, CEO of Wynn Resorts, trashed President Obama on a company conference call today. Below are the most damning portions of the call:
I believe in Las Vegas. I think its best days are ahead of it. But I'm afraid to do anything in the current political environment in the United States.

No mincing of words there ..
Hammer meet nail.
“... and until he’s gone, everybody’s gonna be sittin’ on their thumbs.”
Glad to hear him speaking the truth. Didn’t he vote for him? When any business person voted for Obama I just rolled my eyes. I bet he won’t be so stupid next time. HA! Of course he isn’t minding Immelt’s directed to buck up and shut up. Immelt is a fascist pig that has materially benefitted in a multitude of ways. May he one day get all he richly deserves back at him.
Yep and yep! :-)
directed=directive
Financially, I am doing great. I love the Obama economy (when I look at my bottom line). I'm making more money than I ever have. I don't mind working and making some OT (though it is approaching more than I want to). But I am not mad at my employer for me running my tail off. If I was in the shoes of the senior leadership of my company, why would I hire more people? I have no idea what an employee is going to cost me long term. It is easier to run the tails off existing employees.
Of course, the quality of our product will eventually suffer if the work load continues as it is--hurting our wonderful customers. Really its too bad. Instead of everybody on my team working boocoo OT and making the big bucks, another couple people could be hired off the unemployment line, and everybody would be a lot happier. But again, I can't blame our senior leadership for failing to approve additional help.

wynn voted for comrade obama.
LOL. Oh well. They really don't get it, but hey he at least sees the gun to his head and he is saying something. These Democrats are the brightest bulbs in the room are they? I wised up as a business woman real fast about what sort of policies were good for me, my taxes, my opportunities, and my freedom. It sure wasn't the Democrats. These people have no idea that it is and was their ideals that led them to Barack Obama. Exactly what THEY voted for. Many of these people have no idea just how naive they truly are. I am being generous with the use of the word naive here.
We told them to be scared to be very, very afraid of this man and they called us RACISTS. Now whose scared?
This guy can't identify his enemies. Maybe he's a great casino promoter, but he's dumb as a box of rocks when it comes to that coherent world view thingy.
It won’t change without growth.
Fascinating conversation to be able to listen in on.
Wynn:
Yes, September will be our fifth anniversary in the People’s Republic of China in Macau and we love it there. We are so grateful to be part of that market and to be allowed to participate in that community.
We find the political environment, the regulatory environment, the human resource environment that we are in to be absolutely delicious. Life is quite straightforward in China. The government is predictable.
Our employees are eminently trainable. They’re anxious to please. They have a fabulous attitude, whether they’re local Macau people, mainland Chinese people, folks from the Philippines, they’re just wonderful and all of that’s come together to help us deliver the kind of product that we’ve always been delivering.

And then #2, in Vegas, especially as I hear Marilyn talk about, a month like October for example, that there’s not an inch of meeting square footage left in Las Vegas and as we think about limited or no supply over the next several years, being added back to Las Vegas, does it not make sense to expand your meeting square footage? I know you can do it east of country club or in that area?
Stephen Wynn
Well, here’s our problem. There are a host of opportunities for expansion in Las Vegas, a host of opportunities to create tens of thousands of jobs in Las Vegas.
I know that I could do 10,000 more myself and according to the Chamber of Commerce and the visitors convention bureau, if we hired 10,000 employees, it would create another 20,000 additional jobs for a grand total of 30,000.
I believe in Las Vegas. I think its best days are ahead of it. But I’m afraid to do anything in the current political environment in the United States. You watch television and see what’s going on on this debt ceiling issue.
And what I consider to be a total lack of leadership from the President and nothing’s going to get fixed until the President himself steps up and wrangles both parties in Congress.
But everybody is so political, so focused on holding their job for the next year that the discussion in Washington is nauseating. And I’m saying it bluntly, that this administration is the greatest wet blanket to business, and progress and job creation in my lifetime.
Steve Wynn supports Harry Reid, the senate majority leader thug who pushed through Obamacare on Christmas Eve. I can still see them wheeling a half-dead, incoherent Robert Byrd from the home to cast that vote. Maybe getting all that union vote and God knows how many corrupt buds of yours out to ensure Reid’s ‘victory’ in November is part of the problem, hey Steve? Obama has no stronger promoter and master thug than Reid. We’ll have to see if Steve got his Obamacare exemption...
Perfection!
LOL ...
Well you won’t see this on the yahoo mainpage (AP).
