Wynn CEO Goes On Epic Anti-Obama Rant On Company Conference Call
Business Insider ^ | Jul. 18, 2011 | Joe Weisenthal

Who doesn't love a good rant? We certainly do,

I believe in Las Vegas. I think its best days are ahead of it. But I'm afraid to do anything in the current political environment in the United States. You watch television and see what's going on on this debt ceiling issue.

And I'm saying it bluntly, that this administration is the greatest wet blanket to business, and progress and job creation in my lifetime. Well, my customers and the companies that provide the vitality for the hospitality and restaurant industry, in the United States of America, they are frightened of this administration. And it makes you slow down and not invest your money. Everybody complains about how much money is on the side in America.

The guy keeps making speeches about redistribution and maybe we ought to do something to businesses that don't invest, their holding too much money. We haven't heard that kind of talk except from pure socialists. Everybody's afraid of the government and there's no need soft peddling it, it's the truth. It is the truth. And that's true of Democratic businessman and Republican businessman, and I am a Democratic businessman and I support Harry Reid. I support Democrats and Republicans. And I'm telling you that the business community in this company is frightened to death of the weird political philosophy of the President of the United States. And until he's gone, everybody's going to be sitting on their thumbs.

And Harry Reid supports everything Obama is doing to destroy business.

This guy isn't very bright.

There is no way that I will accept that there is anything going on other than a deliberate destruction of America. I have read Ayn Rand and she clearly warned against accepting evil. She said that we should be prepared to forgive all manner of mistakes made from ignorance but not one step taken in deliberate evil. What is happening is deliberate evil, people that stupid would literally not be able to walk and chew gum, they would be sitting in the corner blowing spit bubbles and making very strange noises, rocking back and forth etc. I believe that some of them invest a lot of energy in trying to convince themselves that they believe their own absurdities but they react so violently when challenged that they give away the game. They cannot afford to discuss things in a civilized manner because someone would force them to admit that they are trying to prove that two plus two equals six and seven eighths.

He says he supports Harry Reid because Harry Reid has a strangle hold on gambling in Nevada - Wynn’s bread and butter.

You beat me to the punch. I was gonna say the same thing. Either Wynn is a complete idiot (which we all know he surely isn't) or he's afraid of criticizing Harry Reid. Reid is so much of the problem in America that it isn't even funny. The guy is a total POS. I can't prove this but I bet when Wynn is alone in the ballot box, he just might pick someone else besides Reid.

We need to talk about your signature line: "Trying to reason with a liberal is like teaching algebra to a tomcat."

I'm a cat person and I've never had a cat that couldn't provide for itself. It's their instinct to be self sufficient. Liberals are dumber than cats. A lot dumber!

Your signature line would be more accurate if it said something like "Trying to reason with a liberal is like teaching algebra to a toilet."

I like what he said but was very disturbed to hear Wynn say he was a Democrat who supported Harry Reid. WTF.

If Wynn weren’t ex-mob, he’d be worth a gander. Do what he says, not what he does. I think he is in bed with Harry Reid on the online poker stuff.

If you didn’t know what Obama was before 2008 you’re either an idiot or were not paying attention....while I’m glad he taking the fight to Obama. I don’t put much faith in him either..

he may be a good business man but he’s lousy at politics

“He says he supports Harry Reid because Harry Reid has a strangle hold on gambling in Nevada - Wynn’s bread and butter.”

Yes, like Trump, he’s a smart businessman. When I read the transcript, he also said he supported Democrats AND Republicans. I have no doubt that he contributes to both.

Wasn’t Wynn an Obamabot, too?

I can’t stand it when these 2 faced corporate types finally turn on the elites after they’ve had someone take their cheese.

My cheese has been gone for a couple years, dude.
