As the Beltway politicians try to figure out how they will raise the debt ceiling and for how long, most voters oppose including tax hikes in the deal.
Just 34% think a tax hike should be included in any legislation to raise the debt ceiling...55% disagree and say it should not.
Fifty-eight percent (58%) of Democrats want a tax hike...82% of Republicans do not. Among [Independents], 35% favor a tax hike and 51% are opposed.

Lets see. 58% dems want hike plus 18% GOP want hike plus 35% independents want hike that’s 111% want a tax increase. Obama’s number was low.

This man’s strategy from day 1 was to architect exactly this outcome. Where he would gratuitously overspend, enact the largest entitlement Program in History, and use all of this to pull the trigger on a tax increase SO LARGE that it would transform this country into the Entitlement Utopia of a Socialist Republic.
But you have to give it to the Left because since Reagan cleaned their clocks they have LEARNED.
In the past they would Tax and Spend, now they do it the other way around and this makes their move to Socialism unstoppable.
They now have a gun to the head of America and look happy to pull the trigger, IF they are not allowed their desire to spend and tax their way to Socialism.

If 1 million of us stood our ground on Apr 15th and refused to file and send the bastards any more money, that would send a message to the thieves that we aren't going to comply anymore.
What are they gonna do throw 1 million of us in jail? Besides, if we could pull that off, then there would be a groundswell of support and we could very well take the whole friggin system down.
