"The Speaker has told the White House he sees no need to go to Camp David this weekend," Boehner spokesman Brendan Buck said in an email.

What’s this? Obama summons Boehner and McConnell to Camp David and Boehner says “nah”? Why, how DARE he! [heh heh]...

Has the Camp Dick locksmith been informed of the cancellation and given orders to remove the chains, bars and locks?

“any coddled child when they finally meet someone who tells them “NO!” they don’t know how to deal with it.”

Yes, quite the temper tantrum he threw y’day.

They’ve done what decorum has required. They’ve gone to the White House, only to have the boy king stomp off in a huff. There’s no further need to respond to his “invitations”.

He’s more than welcome to come to the Capitol. Plenty of meeting space there. And cameras to document the proceedings.

Plus, the headlines were “Obama SUMMONS Congress to Camp David”

They are equal branches of gov’t, screw you and your summoning, O’Bama.

Glad Boehner finally grew a set.

Here’s hoping that Boehner decides to keep his newly-found backbone...

Now Boehner should state that the Constitution gives Congress (and especially the House) the power over the budget, therefore all further negotiations should take place in the Capitol building and make Obama haul his ass over there every morning rather than having Congressional leaders go to the White House.

Now there’s an idea. Televise the negotiations on CSPAN.

“D*mn, I’m beginning to grow a smidgeon of respect for Boehner.”

“Hope he holds up...the RINO tendency must be extremely strong about now.”

Cantor and the Tea Party Repubs are having to massage Boneher’s spine back into place every hour! Bet on it!

Also the Boehner gets the big chair at the end of the table and Obama can have one of the small ones towards the middle of the room.

"He’s starting to crack,...."

I think so, too - which means he may make Nixon's crack-up look like child's play.
Expect some VERY bizzare Obama behaviours soon.

This is getting old. First of all, the Republicans voted 100% UNANIMOUS against Obamacare. They have held out against the media, the libs, Obama, and most whiny Republicans now all summer, and still people bash Boehner.

Hats off Mr. Speaker. Keep kicking butt.

I don't think citing the Constitution will do much to impress this fool...
