First, I have absolutely no inside track (despite what some may think) but I am guessing Governor Sarah Palin is running for President in 2012. Basis for my guess ? First, she has never said no. In fact, she told me in an interview about 8 weeks ago, and this remark has been repeated by other journalists to her and by her, she has the fire in her belly interest in running. This is not a yes, and it is not a no but leans more in the yes direction. In that interview I tried to get a more definitive answer out of her as to whether she is running or not but only got admission of fire in the belly. Second, we have not heard much from her since her bus tour which makes me suspicious that she is gearing up (but just a guess maybe she is doing something else? writing another book? spending time with her family? ) Third, as the days go on, some of the declared Republican candidates are having a few troubles whether it be a gaffe or troubles raising money. This must be tempting to a politician looking at the race and who has not said no. Fourth, I read in the Des Moines Register that there are Palin volunteers not from a Palin organization all over the ground in Iowa. Fifth, there seems to be a media strategy two weeks ago a documentary about her time as Governor opened in Iowa and then yesterday the cover story in Newsweek Magazine hit the newsstands. Sixth, she has already gone through the media digging into her life and past which discourages many politicians. Seventh, are there any signs she is not running other than that she is not physically in Iowa and has not declared a candidacy?
What do you think? Is she running? or not? (*take the poll)
The real world was Governor Palin being the most powerful Governor in America, while also being the most popular Governor in America.
The real world is you have been against Palin all along, as evidenced by your third post at freerepublic.
Your phony pretending and concern troll routine does not change reality.
>> “his ticket”...? I don’t think so; he might be able to share on “her” ticket. She will not settle for the second spot again. “ <<
I wouldn’t be too worried about Sarah on any ticket actually. She isn’t running.
That would be a dumb move. It’s only in a handful of theaters. If they want to capitalize on her popularity, they need to get it into people’s hands sooner rather than later.
Fair warning--I will vote for Palin, if I have to write her in. --He that hath an ear, let him hear.
How much time did he spend on the Trans Texas Corridor?

Now that’s purity. Suicide, but purity.
I have some questions regarding this. You posted earlier that you have seen numerous 500+ post threads whenever a story like this comes out about Sarah. I assume you have read some of those threads. I also assume you have read the comments in this thread. Those threads (and this one) contained some very valid reasons why Palin might be delaying her announcement. Do you not give credence to any of those reasons? Do you not think it is important for her to avoid any FEC entanglements by waiting until after "The Undefeated" has had its run before announcing? Do you not see the wisdom of waiting until the statute of limitations deadline for ethics complaints before announcing? What would happen to her campaign if she had to stop campaigning to return to Alaska to defend herself over a dozen more frivolous ethics complaints, not to mention the bad press involved? I truly do not understand the impatience. If you really did support her in the past, apparently you didn't learn to trust her judgement.
the director just said they are looking at placing it inot 1000 theaters in the next few weeks.
Seems that the 10 city opening sales are better than expected. Ig ot no story to say that but if they are all ready talking about a bigger rool out before the opening that can only mean pre-order of tickets are through the roof.
That would be nice ... but I remember what happened with “Atlas: Shrugged” back in April.
That was a detailed and thoughtful post Jess. I have not read many threads lately because they are depressing and forced. I don't know how to answer you. It just doesn't feel right. She is so high maintenance at this point. Certainly she knew about the movie situation. Why doesn't she signal by withdrawing from her Fox contract, that income certainly isn't supporting her -- and would give a big "signal."
Too who? Romney, the media, the Obama team trying to plan, schedule, strategise, and focus, for 2012? Who?
You don't have to "warn" us...you're more than entitled to your opinion...and vote!
I suppose...IMHO....that it comes down to this. Put simply: Is it our ultimate objective to eradicate the stain and his regime - remove them from power not later than January of 2013.....or.....to vote for a conservative person (even if the conservative is not an official candidate)?
Each of us will have to answer that question as time goes on.
I don't know how to answer you either. My knowledge of campaign law is not extensive enough to know if the FEC has the ability to decree someone is running based on actions taken, and therefore subject to campaign finance laws, even if that person has not yet announced.
As far as FOX is concerned, there could be a variety of scenarios. Apparently, there was a meeting a few weeks back and the scuttlebutt was that no one came out of it happy. It's possible she told them she was running and they did cancel her contract, but they mutually agreed to keep it quiet. It's also possible that her contract has language that doesn't allow her to speak about it for a period of time if they end their contractual relationship. There could be other scenarios I'm not thinking of. She hasn't appeared on FOX for a few weeks.
As far as a big signal is concerned, I would say her statements in the Newsweek article that just came out is a pretty big signal. Also, Bristol was making the TV circuit a week or so ago and said that her Mom had already made her decision. Sarah contradicted her the next day, but I believe Bristol. Bristol just wasn't supposed to say it yet. In addition to that, Sarah bought a house in the lower 48, bought a bus and had patriotic symbols painted all over it, and just happened to travel through New Hampshire the same day Mitt announced his candidacy. Then there is "The Undefeated", which was released early in 3 states (100 pts to you if you can guess which 3). If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...
As for your feeling of unease, I suggest praying, both for our country and for wisdom in making a decision about whom you will support. Then listen to your gut. I've learned to listen to mine and it usually doesn't lead me astray.
Being done regularly.
Bttt. It's very important to remember that.

“I wouldnt be too worried about Sarah on any ticket actually. She isnt running.”
ROFLMAO
“....Couric exposed her unreadiness for thinking on your feet........”
The Couric interview was highly edited to make Palin appear in as bad a light as possible. The perky one has always had a major leftward tilt, so apparent to the general public that she has finally been ash-canned by CBS, after years of declining creditabilty and a shrinking viewership.
That said I’m glad she has at least one good fan in you.
