Okay, Chip Reid of CBS News asked the President a couple of tough question yesterday and here is the exchange, unless you were watching C-Span you surely did not see it on CBS News later in the evening. This exchange goes on from 11:47-18:48 in the video on C-Span web site. I wrote a sloppy draft here but you can go over to C-Span and view the whole exchange. Now, what fate will Chip Reid suffer for challenging the President since the rest of the media cheer leading squad were on their knees as usual.

“Screw the public. They are just too stupid to understand all of what goes on here in Washington.”
I find it puzzling and infuriating. It is as if they are deliberately ignoring what happened, or trying as hard as they can NOT to see it.
Obama forgot about the NBA season getting resolved.
Obama: “I’d rather be talking about stuff that everybody welcomes, like new programs.”
I hope the evil, anti-American thug is the one who is out of touch, and most Americans have finally recognized that “new programs” are a huge part of the problem. No country, not even the (formerly) richest country in the world, can afford to play Santa Clause, because the greedy always want even more. I can’t wait for January 20, 2013, when I pray that this terrible national nightmare will end.
No, he did. He said "the public," i.e. the Tea Party, was not paying attention and didn't know beans about treasury auctions, and should just not worry their pretty little heads about it. I can think of so many things I can’t stand about him, but we would be here all day. The latest is NASA closing down on his watch. Whether it makes since or not, America always did the big stuff and now we’re hitching a ride with the Russians. How far we have fallen since Obama was elected. He does not believe in American Exceptionalism, regardless. I grew up watching the stuff on TV and as a small child watching the hippies on TV calling the VETS coming home baby killers and spitting on them. I was a child, but I knew it was wrong. Back to the 70’s we go and he is worse than Jimmy Carter. We have a whole generation of dummies who are at least 30 years old and have no idea what is was like to live under a crazy far left democrat. Jimmy Carter sitting in the oval office in his sweater scolding Americans with his “Malaise Speech” and telling people to turn down the thermostat. Now, these idiots who voted for him just got out of college and can’t find a job. I have not pity for them.
I don’t think Hussein will answer a question he hasn’t seen and approved beforehand.
I’m afraid we just elected a bunch of pansies in 2010, and that AK, DE, WV, CO, CA, WA, and NV cancelled out meager Senate gains.
I suppose he did, but I will not submit or sit down and shut up and I think a lot of other people feel the same way. Remember, nobody in the media thought Reagan was going to win until I believe that last weekend before the election. I believe this time around if there is not a revolt in the streets before first, Americans are going to get up on election day just like any other day and calmly pull the lever for who ever the other nominee is. It won’t matter at that point who it is. Another 2 years of this man and he will be swept out of office. All those cars in Northern Virginia with Obama bumper stickers have almost completely disappeared. And, if you see one it’s usually some granola eating girly man driving the car or Holders people and I just stare at them like are you from Mars and roll my eyes.
They don’t understand their fate; they are too uninformed to reason.
It’s a good to know that at 80+ years I can still think like your grandsons friend. I do know from experience that if I were in debt and decided I needed more debt to pay somebody or the previous debt off I would like to know who was holding my debt. As I hear it the USA government now takes/squeezes from it’s citizens 20x the amount of money needed for running the Nation. It makes me wonder if raising the debt limit isn’t just to be able to send more money to help out the debt predicaments of banks in Europe. We did this a few years back and there is probably still unpaid bills generated by the Fed Reserve and Euro banks.

Really, he has never has a job in his life so How can he run anything. He has never earned a paycheck from a business or cut a paycheck to an employee. Obama is just a symptom of a bigger problem in America, it’s the stupid people who went to public schools for the last thirty years and Oprah and all of the stupid women who watched her show everyday and their girly husbands and boyfriends. And, then Oprah introduced Dr. Phil to America so women could drag their husbands on national TV and let Dr. Phil castrate them in front of all of America. Girly men we now have in large portions of the country. I call it the Oprahization of America or OBA. Oprahs Big ASS. BTW, I’m a woman so I can talk on this subject. Men, take back your manhood and help us women save this country. You are appreciated and we like you and we love you just the way you are. Step up, you will not be ridiculed.

I am now fully aware that I am so stupid that I cannot understand the fine points of not raising the debt ceiling and not raising taxes in a recession.
How stupid I was to not realize that by taking on more debt, people and countries would fall all over themselves to lend me money.
And what an utter maroon I am to not realize that by not taking on more debt shows me as being a deadbeat whom nobody or country would dare lend me a fricking dime.
And what the Hell I would buy for a dime eludes me at the moment as I can't think of a thing I can buy with it.
I am so glad that we have professional politicians to take care of things like this so I can stand in line for Harry Potter tickets before my wealth gets spread around.
I wonder if they sell grape Kool-Aid at the concession stand?
I will vote for an across th board conservative on election day, PERIOD.
If I have to go third party or write in to do that, so be it.
If the Rebublicans Run Romney or Perry or any of that ilk, then the growing anger that unbridled socialism is generating is the least bad choice. Any peace is not better than every war.
Not so sure about WV. I forget his name, but he had to literally pull out a shotgun and shoot a hole into Obama’s cap and trade. WV has coal and that’s all they have. In Virginia Jim Webb is stepping aside so Democrats will not grab the Virginia Senate seat he is vacating. That was a fluke. I have lived in this state all my life in Central and Northern Va. Northern VA might be mushy purple but this rest of the state is red and it’s a big state.
