FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 11, 2011 LOCAL TEA PARTY GROUPS TO CO-SPONSOR TEA PARTY PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE, HOSTED BY CNN AND THE TEA PARTY EXPRESS
The Tea Party Express (www.TeaPartyExpress.org) released details today on the 120+ local tea party groups that will co-sponsor the upcoming Tea Party Presidential Debate. Tea party groups may become a co-sponsor at no cost, giving them access to event tickets, national recognition, and input content of the debate.
The historic Tea Party Presidential Debate is the first and only scheduled debate focusing exclusively on tea party issues, with candidates answering questions that come directly from activists within the broad grassroots movement.
Chairman Amy Kremer said, This groundbreaking debate is a powerful demonstration of the strength and influence of the tea party movement. The candidates will be on stage answering questions directly from tea partiers, and vying for the full support of the movement. With the entire tea party movement engaged in this debate, the right candidate will emerge with strong tea party support and the momentum to win the Republican nomination.
Hosted by CNN and Tea Party Express, the debate will be broadcast live from Tampa, FL on September 12th, a date that was chosen for its great significance in the modern tea party movement. More details can be found at: http://www.teapartyexpress.org/teaparty-debate

LOL! I'm just hoping Candy Crowley isn't the moderator, I'd prefer not to have to gag my way through it! :)
Check us out here...
Way to go, Titusville Patriots!! Hope to see you there!!
Thanks for the ping.
I enjoyed the tour of your site too! I think I only joined you once but will have to do it again!
I am working on calendar for return to Fl in Sept. We’ll see if I can make it to Tampa this time.
See y'all ... FRegards
WHY CNN?
As "just the manager of the ping list," I can't answer your question. But I do recall there was a bunch of discussion about this when this debate was first unveiled earlier this year.
I'd suggest searching for older threads. You could also FReepmail syncro.
Why is the TPE like an abused partner? They go back for it more from the Communist News Network. Denial, Egypt and all that...
The media is good at manipulating Conservatives, but they can be manipulated right back.
Stay tuned.
Where is the list of candidates that will be on the "big show"??
A list will be forthcoming.
Nope....just heard there will be four moderators; each of them taking 25% of the time and a fifth moderator to handle the "wrap-up" or summary session....
They are:
1. Cattyyy Couric,
2. Keith Olberman,
3. little chrissy mathews,
4. juan williams, and
5. either John Stewart or Al "freekin'" Franken (not been decided yet).
Should be a great show...what??
I’ll keep an eye out for the list....thanks!
Uh-Uh, No Way!
:-)

VERY BAD!
THEY WILL PAINT US IN THE WORST POSSIBLE LIGHT.
I apologize....I should have used the {/sarcasm sign!!
I was only kidding!
Whew!!!!!!
You got me good ;-)
No conservative in their right mind would ever subject themselves to a goup like that.
One wonders why there are no conservative "groups".
For example....suppose we're going to have a debate with the dem/lib/prog/pop candidates (ok, I know the stain is the only candidate, but humor me for a bit).
Now...we have to pick four ultra conservative "moderators" to run the debate so to speak, and one to do the summary.
So....who would they be??
1. Ann Coulter,
2. Vicki McKenna,
3. Chris Wallace,
4. Michelle Malkin, and
5. Rush Limbaugh to summarize.
Quite a panel, that, yes??
