Ya had great views of planes landing and taking off.. and wishing you were on one.. :-)

Thank GOD for our Canteen heroes...and, indeed, ALL our wonderful troops around the world!
My friends shaved my head in a going away party.
They still made me sit in the chair and pay for a haircut.
Hi Kathy. I was at MCRD on June 26. Beautiful place. Very inspiring.

I wish I had a dollar for every time THAT thought went through my mind!
"I know your friend list includes a lot of people ready to send up prayers. A friend (Robert) injured in Afghanistan is doing poorly post surgery. He and the family need some prayers. Urgently. Thank you!!"
BTW, thanks for the pics!
We had it “easy”. We were in the H barracks.
:)
whhhoooossshhhhh day and night .. every couple minutes sometimes.. but being as ya were pooped ya fell asleep real quick.. they could drive tanks thru the barracks and it wouldn’t phase ya..
did ya ever go do PT over by the navy training base next door?
Navy recruits would be out there smoking cigs and eating candy bars and we’re out there heaving our lungs out.. all that separated us was a chain link fence.
and paid, and paid, and paid, you did!
:)
Hiya, Sand...((HUGS))...a good Monday? Healing going well?
Settling back into work ok?
hi....
Prayers for Robert to recover fully and in good time! Prayers of courage and strength for him AND his family who are so worried!
Yes, we were close enough that we could see the lucky bastards enjoying their smokes.
Prayers on the way for Robert and his doctors, and the family, that he starts the healing process quickly.
