CLEVELAND The unruly passenger that caused United Airlines flight 944 headed from Chicago to Frankfurt, Germany to make an unscheduled stop in Cleveland was arrested Monday.
According to Stephen D. Anthony, the special agent in charge of the Cleveland Division of the FBI, and Chief Michael McGrath with the Cleveland Police Department, Saleh Ali S. Alramakh, 21, repeatedly disobeyed orders from flight attendants Friday and his behavior eventually escalated to shoving, kicking and spitting.

The trouble allegedly began when Alramakh, of Akron, went into the restroom and used an electronic device during taxi in Chicago.
Flight attendants asked that he immediately turn off the device and return to his seat.
Anthony said at first Alramakh refused, but eventually complied.

Saudi Arabia? If it isn’t SJS (sudden jihad syndrome) then it’s TES (total entitlement syndrome). Based upon this report, it’s either one or the other. :)
I was on a flight from FT Lauderdale to Dulles when an islamic looking dude decided to get up during the final approach. FA’s told him several times to sit down over the intercom. He refused to obey the order to sit the F down and was faced with about 50 passengers unlocking seatbelts and ready to kick his arse and did in the end sit down.
These people need to be dealt with by the people on the plane. 9/11 does give us a certain amount of leeway in dealing with these folks. It is really interesting to see liberals faced with a middle eastern dude refusing to follow flight crew orders.
“Against who? The airlines?”
No, the raghead. Yes, of course the airlines. And the TSA, those keepers of the air safety and all things unionize-able.
“And what is the monetary value of the plaintiffs loss? A few hours.”
Depends. Miss a connecting flight to the Superbowl? Daughter’s wedding? Bother’s funeral? Would you suffer because of that? Non-refundable tickets for that cruise you paid for in advance? Is Allah going to chopper you out?
Someone calculated the cost to the passengers when Bubba got his famous LA haircut and the figures were huge.
You never know who is traveling, what their business is and what schedule you are interrupting. Do you?
I also would’nt over look the scared shitless factor. This would be no joke if my wife were on that plane and I got my hands on that greasy little neck. But I guess juries don’t reward pain and suffering?
Sheesh. Next.
“SJS is a very real and very serious disease and must be treated.”
I wouldn’t mind seeing the jagovs from the TSA paying some heavy dues for it.

Hey good people. Is anybody else as tired of the “Amish” references as I am? I respectfully submit it’s worn out and should be discarded.
OK. He was French.
The day will come when one of these arrogant smack-offs will meet a very large, very nasty SOB who will kick the living Koran out of them. Cheers will be heard across the nation.
A radio report I heard said that he was handcuffed while the plane was still in the air. Perhaps airlines now keep a pair of cuffs on board for just this kind of thing.
“Sheesh. Next.”
Class action suits are usually pushed by ambulence chasing types of lawyers, who make out well.
That’s what conservatives mean, when they refer to “tort reform.”
Ever since 9-11-01, I have advocated that the airlines equip every seat back pocket with a couple of these --
...in large size. And that the attendants illustrate their use at the same time they demo the seat belts and oxy masks.

"What's that you say, Mr terrorwacko?"
"The one around your neck is too tight?"
ZZzzzzt!!
"Ooops! Sorry, they only work in one direction..."
"Here -- let me cut it off..."
"Dagnabit -- I forgot: since your buddies pulled 9-11, we no longer can travel with anything sharp. Thank them..."
Yes! I agree. I too am getting tired of these “Amish” references. They are actually a bit insulting to the Amish.
I know the point we are trying to make is that these ROP guys are 180 degrees removed from a peaceful group like the Amish. But in the end a stereotype is a stereotype, good or bad.
If you want to use a stereotype then use the stereotype “American”
I can with PRIDE say that these ROP freaks are 180 degrees removed from us AMERICANS.
By Americans I mean all genuine God fearing Constitution loving, Country loving, fellow mankind loving Americans, be they white, red, brown, amish, christian, jewish, hindu, sikh, buddhist, german, english, japanese
All 330 million of us say in ONE LOUD VOICE...:”Get the heck out our country you miserable 7th century freaks!”
I was in PHL airport a few years ago waiting for a flight to FLA. The TSA actually escorted the “raghead” around the security line and accelerated his access to the aircraft.
You tell people this stuff, and they think you are making up a story.
They still managed to hide the Arabic definite article 'al-' in his name, a common part of Arabic names. By squishing it all together they perhaps tried to conceal the origin of the name?
The jihadis are gauging our response.
We need to learn to escalate against the offender in an exponential fashion. Don't just restrain the offender......make him hurt.....bad.
Let him tell his fellow muzzies how he lost his virility.
What the he** was the electronic device? Did he have a vibrator?

And? That was pretty much my point, wondering when the lawyers would jump on this, as they do at every other opportunity to make a buck. Or did I say, as you seem to suggest, that they should keep sending in the Silky pony types to get fat?
You started talking shit about there being no inconvenience, I demonstrated how there is possibly SEVERE inconvenience, and I get your non-responsive lecture on conservatism. A little slow to admit how you don’t think things through, are you?
That’s OK, I’ll accept an implied apology. Who peed in your soup yesterday?
