At a White House press conference today, President Barack Obama said that "professional politicians" understand the debt crisis better than "the public."
Obama was responding to a question from CBS News Reporter Chip Reid. The latest CBS News poll showed that only 24 percent of Americans said that you should raise the debt limit to avoid an economic catastrophe," said Reid. "Theres still 69 percent who oppose raising the debt limit. So, is it the problem that you and others have failed to convince the American people that we have a crisis here and how are you going to change that?

Well, the results prove that they definitely do not. Professional politicians don’t know their ass from a hole in the ground, but that’s where they’re shoveling our money anyway.
Wow...I must refrain from saying what I really think of “Professional Politicians”. Lets just say I loath them as much as I loath the Islamic cockroaches who are out to kill us all.
“You little people don’t need to try to understand what we do here. Just get back to your little boring lives and leave all this hard stuff to your betters.”

Oh no he did not say that???? Good grief, the ego is unbounded.
Precisely because we didn’t keep the professional politicians feet to the fire is why we’re in the mess we’re in.
Most of the professional politicians don’t understand how to add and subtract. They don’t read the bills they pass. They sure as heck don’t understand the Treasury markets.
PPPTTTTHHHHHHTTTTT!
BIG razzberry for this assertion on the part of The One.
Everybody has to give a little bit. How about the US Congress repeals Obamacare, and the figurehead in the Oval Office signs it.
Tht would resolve a large part of the “debt crisis” almost immediately.
Of course they do. Professional politicians created it so as to skim millions from the public rubes so they could get rich jumping from each fiscal crisis to tthe next worse crisis.
The question is, would you trust such greasy creatures to fix it or even want it fixed?
Right, because sane people know that when you need to continually borrow more money just to pay the interest on your current debts, and you adamantly refuse to cut spending in the face of reduced income, you’re probably just a hair’s breadth from going belly up.
“Professional politicians” are insane.
Very good!
“They dont understand jack.”
They understand how to get rich.
,,!,,
Too subtle?
Very good!
Only Timmy can rescue us.
Never let a crisis go to waste. Corollary: if there is no crisis, create one and convince the media to promote it.
So when he voted against raising the debt ceiling, as a Senator, he wasn’t a professional politician?
I guess now we can officially call them pee-pees.
I am sure professional politicians DO understand the debt crisis better than "the man in the street". However, though liberals may understand what they are proposing, they have no moral problem with deceiving the public with "in the future" cuts that they intend to repeal before they happen.
It is a minor miracle, in my mind, that the majority of the public still understand the simple principle that you cannot spend more than you take in indefinately. If they TRULY understood what liberals are doing to the budget, it would be torch and pitchfork time. But, god bless them, the public may not understand the intricacies of the budget process but they have the common sense to know the status quo cannnot persist forever. Of course, the liberals understand that as well, but their amoral lust for power allows them to push that "inconvenient truth" aside.
How ever do we survive without your tax dollars to buy votes with?
