Unbelievable: TV Reporter Mocks Romney's Mormonism
Commentary ^

Polls show there's an anti-Mormon bias among voters - especially Democrats, more than a quarter of whom say they wouldn't vote for a Mormon. But this video of a Memphis Fox affiliate ridiculing Mitt Romney about his religion is a real wake-up call [video]. The whole news segment appears to be about Mormonism and the 2012 election, but skip ahead to the 3:20 mark for the worst of it [video].

...this country CANNOT be turned around by people who are not Christians. Time to post the Mayflower Compact
Having undertaken, for the Glory of God, and advancements of the Christian faith and honor of our King and Country, a voyage to plant the first colony in the Northern parts of Virginia, do by these presents, solemnly and mutually, in the presence of God, and one another, covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil body politic; for our better ordering, and preservation and furtherance of the ends aforesaid; and by virtue hereof to enact, constitute, and frame, such just and equal laws, ordinances, acts, constitutions, and offices, from time to time, as shall be thought most meet and convenient for the general good of the colony; unto which we promise all due submission and obedience.

<,i>"Well, personally I'm not trying to "win" mormons to Christ."
I don't believe we do any more than nudge people in the right direction and pray that the Holy Spirit works with a given person. I'm sure you just forgot the sarcasm indication there but I sincerely wish you good luck in return. You've obviously come a long, and from what little I know about it, hard way.

My eyes are wide open and I see you for what you are.
A pretty little girl named Suzy was standing on the sidewalk in front of her home in Salt Lake City. Next to her was a basket containing a number of tiny creatures; in her hand was a sign announcing FREE KITTENS.
Suddenly a line of big black cars pulled up beside her. Out of the lead car stepped a tall, grinning man.
"Hi there little girl, I'm President Thomas Monson. What do you have in the basket?" he asked.
"Kittens," little Suzy said.
"How old are they?" asked Monson.
Suzy replied, "They're so young, their eyes aren't even open yet."
"And what kind of kittens are they?"
"Mormons," answered Suzy with a smile.
Thompson was delighted. As soon as he returned to his car, he called his PR chief and told him about the little girl and the kittens.
Recognizing the perfect photo op, the two men agreed that the president should return the next day; and in front of the assembled media, have the girl talk about her discerning kittens.
So the next day, Suzy was again standing on the sidewalk with her basket of "FREE KITTENS," when another motorcade pulled up, this time followed by vans from Deseret News, The Ensign magazine and KSL.
Cameras and audio equipment were quickly set up, then Thompson got out of his limo and walked over to little Suzy.
"Hello, again," he said, "I'd love it if you would tell all my friends out there what kind of kittens you're giving away."
"Yes sir," Suzy said. "They're Christians."
Taken by surprise, the Living Prophet® stammered, "But... but... yesterday, you told me they were MORMONS."
Little Suzy smiled and said, "I know. But today, they have their eyes open"

I'm sure you just forgot the sarcasm indication thereNo, there was no sarcasm intended. I simply asked you "What is YOUR plan to win others to Christ? If your posts here are an indication, I wish you luck."
In all your judgmental carping at others on this thread I have seen no indication from you that you are interested in winning others to Christ..only in suggesting that we are not doing so.
Soo...what is YOUR plan? How are your words here "nudging" folks in the right direction..and what do you consider to BE the right direction?

So, selective quoting and now mind reading.I thought these MORMON mantras were superceded!
I guess all didn't get the memo.
Selecting quoting is SO bad, that it can be EXPOSED by posting where it was taken from in CONTEXT.

You're apparently still Mormon because you see everyone else as if they're one. You can't imaging that people who say something you once heard a Mormon say isn't one of them. Whatever you've opened your eyes about, you're still a captive of the Mormons you say you've escaped from.

You are like most ex-wives, you insist on the last word and you refuse to shut up. Speaking of Last Words...
On March 23, 1877, Lee was executed by firing squad at Mountain Meadows on the site of the 1857 massacre.
His last words included a reference to Young:
"I do not believe everything that is now being taught and practiced by Brigham Young. I do not care who hears it. It is my last word... I have been sacrificed in a cowardly, dastardly manner."

Grey asked a legitimate question and I would like the answer as well.
What is YOUR plan? How do you nudge, because I haven’t seen any evidence either.
BTW, Mormons have been brought out of Mormonism and to Christ on these threads, in spite of those who would just rather we ‘go away’.

It isn’t a good cop/bad cop routine at all. Nor is it ‘entertainment’. It is a serious legitimate question.
Don’t criticize others methods if you are doing nothing. Just like you shouldn’t criticize the government if you refuse to vote.
