Ron Paul agrees with Robert Taft.

I don’t think Ron Paul thinks we shouldn’t be strong.

I think he is in favor of strong defense, but not attacking countries who didn’t attack us.

Ron Paul thinks we should abolish the CIA. Yeah, that’s real “strong national defense” oriented.

All Ron Paul did was say a word you didn’t like.

YOU don't get to define and oversimplify my beliefs or opinions - you distract

you need to stop trying to defend the wackjob until you educate yourself on his record and statements - then learn how to debate

you are responsible for more people hating ron paul than ron paul himself

The link was not to something that he did
The link was to a word he used that he didn’t like.

If you want to make a fuller argument, feel free.

Make an complete argument without photoshops and the word wackjob.

Attacking other countries that didn’t attack us is expensive.

What is your argument?

Blah blah blah wackjob blah blah.

Make the argument.

Ron Paul ran against George Bush in 1988.

Uncontested Fact.

Ron Paul ran against George Bush in 1988.

Uncontested Fact.

Ron Paul led the Texas Delegation for Reagan.

Another Uncontested Fact.

What you have is your opinion.

It is an uncontested fact that Ron Paul left the GOP in ‘88 because Reagan was too big government for him. Go ask him, he won’t lie. He only ducks the question when it comes to the beliefs of his radical nutjob associates.

In your opinion we cannot have a strong national defense without the CIA?

I’m not saying Ron Paul doesn’t want to abolish the CIA. Ron Paul does want a much much smaller Federal Government.

Ron Paul wants to abolish many many Federal Agencies.

Send a link to a bill he sponsored or voted for which tried to abolish the CIA.

I’m not saying that Ron Paul doesn’t want smaller government, just that I don’t have the specifics about all the cuts he wants to make.

Read his book if you want proof he wants to abolish the CIA (has a whole chapter on it Liberty Defined).

Look, you seem to be a conservative who supports Ron Paul, not one of those radical libertarian nuts. If that's the case, can you please explain to me why Ron Paul chooses to associate with radical libertarians nuts like Lew Rockwell and his band of merry anarchists and co-authors bills with Barney Frank, but then won't associate with the Tea Party Caucus?

He voted for DADT repeal, and here's why: http://www.advocate.com/News/Daily_News/2010/05/28/Ron_Paul_on_DADT_Repeal_Vote/ That doesn't sound like he wants to ban homosexuals in the military to me.

In the 2008 Republican Primary, competing against a historically weak field -- McCain, Romney, Huckabee -- Ron Paul "amassed" 6% of the vote.

When the primary actually takes place, he will be lucky to match that total.

Discountable poll.

A Palin/Paul ticket

Is probably the only reason I could think of that I wouldn't vote for Sarah Palin.

Get real you Paulistians. He didn't go nowhere before and he's headed down the same road. Only four years more senile.

And in his home county, Victoria County, Dr. Paul finished 3rd -- behind both McCain and Huckabee -- with 16% of the vote.

So, how does that translate to 22% statewide? It doesn't.

Paul remains a distraction -- a sideshow. A gadfly, hoping to draw attention to himself.

The crazy uncle in the Republican attic...

Gary Johnson at 9% and Ron Paul at 22%? Their own governor at 17%? That’s bull. Ron Paul got 10% in his own district last time, so I can’t believe he’d be winning in the whole state this time.

It's likely one of those polls that can be spammed by Paulbots.

Paulbots swam and spam these things and then post them as if they're realistic.

Most of us didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday and know they're bogus.

But it's all the Paulbots have, so I guess we should let them revel in their little fanstasy world.

After all, they spammed so hard to get there.

If they are making phone calls then they are definitely oversampling the registered libertarians

Along with democrats and mooslimes. They are the only things who would vote for a blame America first anti-American like cut and run.

There is no information on Azimuth Research Group, and when I do a search on them all I get is three pages, all of which mention this specific poll. Anyone know anything about these folks?

I don't see anything significant about them either and I've never heard of them.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were some arm of ronpaulforums.com or one of those groups.

There aren't any good internals to go by. Likely just some Paul worship group putting this garbage out hoping to reel in yet another of those people that PT Barnum referenced. There's one born every minute, after all. :)
