Gallup: Blacks Most Religious Group in U.S. Only if you consider Jeremiah Wright
as the leader of a religious group.

“Gallup: Blacks Most Religious Group in U.S.”
Now if that poll takes in followers of the Revs. Wright, Sharpton & Jackson, one would have to conclude it is highly suspect........and religious not.

This might be good news if blacks didn’t have an alarming tendency of getting mixed up with criminal cult leaders like Jeremiah Wright, Father Pfleagle and the Rev. Jim Jones.

What type of religious activities are they speaking of in this poll?

If by “religious” you mean they get dolled up in elaborate dresses and suits to go listen to some overpaid preacher in a gaudy outfit yell for an hour and listen to gospel music, then you are correct.
But they all love to vote for people that push abortion, gay agendas, dependence on the state, racial “justice” platforms, and reverse racism.
So their religion is pretty much just a show. Or they are pretty slow on the uptick.

I think that every woman I’ve seen today dressed in abaya/niqab or hijab has been black.
Of course, for the mesh-eyed-niqabber, I can’t really say. In fact, it might have just been a ninja.

My position is that you cannot be a good Christian and vote Democrat. And since 96% of blacks voted for Obama, I think this tells me a lot about their adherence to the word of Jesus Christ.

Unfortunately blacks are most idolatrous group in U.S. Most of them worship government. They look to government to meet their every need and solve all their problems.

Are we including the Hussein cult as a religion?
True story that should give us hope (though I realize anecdotal evidence is not sufficient): I have a friend who is....black, female, from Massachusetts, single, and a public school teacher, union member. She fits every demographic that says she should be a Hussein supporter.
SHE CANNOT STAND HIM! She is a strong Christian woman who does not drink the Obama Kool-Aid. There is hope.

Yes and their religion is socialism.

I’m a white male attendee of the Roman Catholic Church and I’m not sure if I would list myself as very or moderately religious. The blacks at my Parrish are all recent immigrants from Africa. They are hard core pro life and pro family.
I will say this:
If my local Church priest/ deacon mentions economic justice or wage equality in a Homily again, I WILL interrupt Mass right there a blast the speaker in front of the congregation.
I’ve had enough of the liberation theology seeping into Homilies. I will not leave the Church. They will have to kick me out.

"Group" is the keyword in this article. I'm not sure that blacks are the "most religious" group, however, I might concede that a higher percentage of blacks attend church.
Democrats are obsessive "joiners" and like other species that feel the need for safety-in-numbers, "groupthink" is very prevalent with blacks.
On the other hand - and tax exemptions be damned - most of the civil rights marches and demonstrations were planned in black churches.
The films I saw of Reverend Wright's church shows the pews to the packed, but I heard very little regarding God, religion and love of fellow man coming out of Wright's mouth.
So, are they churches, or venues for "community organizing"?
My preacher will not even touch political subjects in church for fear of losing their tax exemption...but many blacks churches are nothing more than political meetings.
My Dad's old adage, "You are only enslaved to the extent of charity you receive" is also holding back churches. I would rather the government keep their tax exemption and free up white churches to be meeting places for Americans, and to unleash the 1st Amendment in Churches too, regardless of the taxes.
Most religious? Well only what is inside an INDIVIDUALS heart and mind can answer that question, otherwise all of the fancy clothes, big billowing hats, and flashy bling-bling shows, the group-whining about long-past oppression, and the plans to "get whitey" does not a "religious experience" make.
