Does this mean we should start building coal plants like gangbusters? ;-)

CO2 causes global warming. No, Wait. CO2 causes global cooling. I’m confused.

More rain, snow and ice storms means global warming because snow is hot. No, wait. The rain, snow and ice cool the air and ground which means global cooling. But the carbon is a green house gas that makes it hot, but the heat makes water evaporate which makes it rain and snow and storm which makes it global cooling. But we don't have enough global warming laws and its raining and snowing and ice storms too much which means its already cooling. So if we accept the economic reductions resulting from unnecessary carbon restrictions now it will make global warming actually hotter, or, I mean, colder - and - I... Error! ... Error! ... Does not compute! ... Does not compute! ... Help me - Will Robinson! ... Danger! *head explodes

Whats going on is, human activities do two things: They cool the planet and they warm the planet. LOL! Awesome. Our simultaneous warming effect and cooling effect both pose major threats to the environment.
I absolutely marvel at the things you can convince a liberal to worry about.

driven a temporary, 10-year slowdown Gotta love how the reporter throws "temporary" in as if its fact. The decade long "slowdown" could go another decade and they'd still be calling it "temporary." Heck, it could go a hundred years and they'd still call it "temporary" if they still had a chance of using Global Warming to fleece taxpayers of more money.

You mean that trying to bankrupt the coal industry was a bad idea by Obama? Not fully using our most abundant energy source was a bad idea? who knew??

It’s simple... the Chinese are commies, so anything they do is good. Chinese coal plants cool, while American coal plants warm.

Somehow, this reminds me of the Israeli response to the cut propeller in the ship which no longer could participate in breaking the blockade: "There is no evidence of any sabotage, and besides that, we didn't do it."
"There has been no reduction in Global Warming, and besides that, the reduction was caused by Chinese coal burning power plants." If it weren't so serious, it would be quite funny.

aHA!! So, they admit that there is no global warming now, and has not been for 10 years - during which time they DEMONIZED those who pointed out that very fact, a fact to which they now agree.

New Study Blames 10-year Lull In Global Warming On China Coal Use, Air PollutionVery strange headline, but I guess you can't use Praises in the same Headline as the word Pollution
It should read: New Study Praises 10-year Lull In Global Warming On China Coal Use, Air Pollution......:>)

The sun is doing a good job at handling global warming, like it has always done. I keep wondering how much Carbon gas these wildfires are putting into the atmosphere, and wondering if we can expect sudden, rapid, violent, irreversible, catastrophic climate change within the next few days. If not, why not? This has to be equal to years of Americans enjoying energy.
