Morning all, didn't see a thread for today so I created one.
Baez never mentioned anything about justice, only that he saved someone from dying. Then he went on to defend gang bangers....looking to be the “go to” attorney for gang bangers? And very thoughtful of him at the end to give his final words in the Mexican language.
I’m with you JUST WOW!
Dumb a$$ comment.
first of all I don't lie to the police and wouldnt' have had a MONTH of lying to everyone that my child was safe with someone else
I wouldn't have lied for years about a fake job and I wouldn't have stolen money from friends and family.
There would be no PROOF right off the bat that I was a lying sociopath
When there is only one person on God's green earth that knows and tells investigators WHEN her own flesh and blood went missing and NOBODY else has contact with or saw a virtually helpless child of 2 and 1/2 then I have NO doubt this woman KILLED her. Some people are NOT in need of a Utube video of the act literally being carried out.
This lying sack of excrement confessed herself guilty, when she told her brother that her daughter had been missing for 31 days. And this killer (I do not give a ..... what a bunch of mush minded idiots needed to have placed before them as evidence) got a walk because NOBODY caught her in the act.
Yes, but they can try her on something else, if they can prove it. For instance, if they could prove that Casey sold child porn pictures of Caylee, as suggested by Wendy Murphy on TV on Sat., they could try her on that charge. Casey is being sued by the real Zanny Gonzalez for ruining her life — loss of her job, loss of her apartment. I hope Zanny wins big on that one.
If I were Casey (God save my soul) I’d move as far away from Florida as I could and I would not leave a forwarding address. I’d stay off of Face Book. I’d lead a prim and proper life for the rest of my days.
Of course, we all know that Casey cannot do that.
With our system of entitlements, the public will be supporting this woman for the rest of her life.
ROFL.
Read kcvl's posts! She posted info about some of the jurists. They are truly Jerry Springer Jurists!
It was stunning -
From what Im seeing today I have less and less faith in Freepers. If there was even some doubt in the minds of those jurors it would have taken them much more time to come to a verdict.
>>Rush just pointed out that there were no facts....no DNA, No witnesses.....so no conviction...
<<
I heard that too. As a Rush fan and 24/7 member, I was taken aback by this rare display of ignorance on Rush’s part. No FACTS???? Please.
Rush seemed to be crowing because this was a “victory” over the “media,” but anyone who thinks there was not enough evidence to tie Casey to the murder isn’t paying attention. Lie after lie after lie after lie.
Explain why Caylee was missing for 31 days rotting in the woods, with duct tape on her mouth, while Casey was lying about it, partying, and making up a fictitious nanny.
Also explain the internet searches for neck breaking and chloroform, which the mom lied about to protect her daughter.
Also explain the corpse hair in Casey’s car, and the “cadaver” smell.
Common sense needs to enter the picture at some point. Sometimes I think common sense is truly dead.
Didn’t you watch the trial or listen to the verdicts??
There were seven counts, the first of which was homicide, the third of which was manslaughter.
So it is with a sociopath/narcissist/pathological liar...they all act the same, they all have that hollow look in their eyes, they all tell lies upon lies, they all get exceptionally angry when challenged, and they all have absolutely no real love or empathy for other human beings, including their own families. They all think they do not have to follow rules and are above the law or any form of supervision. They live in their own fog and are only focused on doing what they want, no matter who they hurt or who suffers as a result. They have no remorse, ever.
I'm stunned, too. If one of my kids was missing in a grocery store for one minute I'd be freaking out all over the place. I can't imagine not calling the police if I ran through the store and my child was not there. I would react in less than 5 minutes. The last thing I'd do is party until someone else noticed my child was no where to be found!!
There is no evidence of a murder so you can’t convict her for murder. A babysitter would get kidnapping. A mother would not. A mother will have child evidence on her and the child will have mother evidence on her. That’s understandable.
If you go to a jury and say “We think the child might have possibly been murdered”, the defendant walks. You have to have prove there was a murder FIRST.
That’s why the defense went with the accidental drowning defense. It put doubt in the jury’s mind.
“...give his final words in the Mexican language”
theres Spanish, Nuhatl, Mixtec, Mayan... but Mexican?
Yes, so in my mind it boils down to "beyond reasonable doubt" in the minds of this particular jury. Other variables aside, quite a crapshoot for a defendant.
Whether we'd like to believe otherwise, we bring a perspective based upon our life experience into a courtroom. Some people are better able to compartmentalize than others. How many people doubt a different jury composition might have yielded a "guilty" verdict in the OJ trial?
Our judicial system would be great if they actually followed protocol. There is too much politics, who knows who, over crowding in prisons allowing for way too many nolle prosquis and stet verdicts. Too many dismissals when the evidence is there. Honestly, I don’t hold much faith in our judicial system at all.
You could insert anything object in place of Caylee, a wallet, a laptop computer, anything, and use the basic story - you handed it to X, when you asked X where it was she said it was somewhere else and she would bring it home soon; then go on with the lies for a month, all the while stealing money from others and partying..... eventually your wallet is found in the mud but it has something from X’s house with it. rush would NOT say there was no evidence that X took his wallet. It is sad to hear him say there was no evidence
And right now, along with his defense team, he is celebrating with champagne! It is almost like dancing on Caylee's grave, IMO!
