Cindy Anthony's bombshell claim that she looked up 'chloroform' on her home computer was dramatically undermined today as her former boss told the Florida court she was still at work when the searches were made.
Prosecutors allege Mrs Anthony made up the story to try to protect her daughter, Casey, who they say searched for information on chloroform, 'neck breaking' and death in the months leading up to the death of Caylee, her two-year-old daughter.
A chief compliance officer for Mrs Anthony's old company today produced records which showed she was still logged into her work computer on the afternoons she claimed to be conducting the internet searches at home

"Cindy Anthony DID lie on the stand': Bosses testify Casey's mother was at work when crucial chloroform searches were made"
When can we strap her to a gurney? Her mothers testimony now amounts to an admission that she believed her daughter was guilty.
What’s the punishment for perjury in a capital murder case these days?
Oops. How could she not know her work computer records would be open for discovery?
Not smart.
All three should be put to death.
That’s what would happen in a compassionate society.
I think the father has a different view now, after being accused of sexual abuse.
Ping, Badge
First of all, I think Casey is guilty, and I hibk that hr whole family is desicable. BUT, how do we know that the date and time of that home computer is set accurately? My several computers (home and work) get “off” from time to time and I am prompted to correct them.
Should say: I think that her whole family is despicable.
I don't have the background details, but if info about the searches came from something like Google or Yahoo, I'd bet their machines have a pretty accurate time stamp.
I think you are right.
Mom is falling on the sword to protect Casey. I have a gut feeling that this has been a long term problem; Casey has been enabled to the point where she thought she could get away with anything.
Where is the little girl’s father?
I seem to remember that Casey claimed that he died in a car accident. Who knows. Perhaps some of the other posters have more info than I do.
One of the many lawyers getting TV facetime these days said "up to fifteen years" this morning - but the caveat is that pursuing charges is pretty rare.
After the father finished testifying the other day, he was seen on video looking at Casey and making a motion like he was “washing his hands” of her. Very dramatic.
Thank you. I hope you get named to the jury of the next one of these, rather than me!
Office log ins might be inconclusive if the office system is set to auto log off only after a certain time delay of being unattended (even invoking a lock screen won’t necessarily log off an office system). The widespread availability of tools like PC Anywhere (which lets a user on the internet take control of a home machine) is another question. I have no dog in the underlying controversy, but hate to see computer technology abused and lied about by so called government “experts.”
Women trying to save their guilty daughters on the stand rarely get a slap for perjury, but this Judge may feel different.
