Office log ins might be inconclusive if the office system is set to auto log off only after a certain time delay of being unattended (even invoking a lock screen won’t necessarily log off an office system). The widespread availability of tools like PC Anywhere (which lets a user on the internet take control of a home machine) is another question. I have no dog in the underlying controversy, but hate to see computer technology abused and lied about by so called government “experts.”
I think there was also a question about the programs the police used to get the information off of her home computer not working right and showing more searches for chloroform or whatever when it was actually facebook log-ins or something like that. I don’t know if anyone testified about that but it did come up.
The thing everyone has to remember about technology is it is only as good as the operator on a good day, some things are not all they are cracked up to be.
I hope noone ever searches my computer- I do random searches all the time just because something catches my interest. Doesn’t mean I am plotting anything or plan to use the information for criminal reasons. I am just a very curious creature and want to know more about things.
