Glenn Beck: I Hate Republicans, Too
Newsmax ^ | June 29, 2011 | Newsmax

Glenn Beck is making it clear that he’s no partisan — he hates Republicans as much as he does Democrats, if not more.

In a tease for his new Web TV venture, GBTV, Beck said he dislikes members of the GOP immensely, according to Politico.

“I hate them. I think they are as much of a problem as the other side," Beck says in a new interview released just before his last show on Fox News.

In one video preview, Beck asks himself and Raj Nair, GBTV’s head correspondent, about what the average person thinks of his political leanings, and Nair agrees that the perception is that he is a Republican.

Not so, says Beck.

“I hate them. I think they are as much of a problem as the other side,” Beck says, walking alongside Nair on the streets of New York. He then invokes George Washington, saying Washington warned of the danger in political parties.

“If you speak out in today’s world, you’re either a Republican or Democrat. How about just being real?” he later says.

Sometimes, I do.

But painting with a broadbrush isn’t the subject I was adressing. I was addressing your referencing of him as “cryboy”, and I’m just going to say this.

I don’t waste tears over lies. Lies are meaningless.

The truth, on the other hand, is quite powerful, and sometimes its signature is the tears of men.

A lot of Republicans have a lot of cowardice and squishiness, and pander too much. ...But as bad as the rats?? Beck is a moron. I just lost a lot of respect for him.

Up until a few months ago, I hated republicans even more than the Dims. They always should have known better, but they played the safe game, and screwed the working taxpayer.

The RINOs have found religion and the ones that won't will be history in 2012.

I’ve got a thousand rounds. When I shoot those coming after my “stuff” what do I do with the bodies? When I’ve killed 999 people do I use the last round on myself? I’m being serious.

Nobody want to deal with that question.
So you have 10,000 rounds. So what? You'll never need more than 100 in a real crisis against a determined mob attack. Unless you live in a concrete fortified house. Not too many do. If a mob determines that you have supplies, it will not take more than 10 minutes to burn you out no matter how many rounds you have.

As someone said just yesterday,"The best trick when finding yourself in the jungle is not to look like food..."

Glenn Beck Bids Farewell and Reveals New Plans

Thursday, June 30, 2011 08:44 PM

By: David A. Patten

Marking the end of a media era, former Fox News host Glenn Beck signed off his program during a live broadcast Thursday, saying his decision to leave the show was “divinely inspired” and promising to continue his fight to restore the values that made America great.

The final program that concluded his two-and-a-half year Fox run was vintage Beck. He lampooned the mainstream media, predicting that his new endeavors to GBTV.com would make them pine for the days when his television time was limited to only an hour a day.

You couldn't be more wrong. People with his intensity and willingness to work the long hours he works, his passion for life, and the vast number of books he reads all = a driven person. It seems to me, those are the people, the odds for success are WITH, not against. In reality, it is only the lazy and envious, sitting around and complaining about others, that tend to be the losers of society.

You posted: “No, if you were being serious you would not have claimed you could shoot 999 dead with 1000 rounds.”

Why is that not being serious? It’s a hypothetical. I do plan on making contact with neighbors at the next monthly HOA meeting.

Glenn is better off than most and I say GOOD FOR HIM. He deserves what he’s earned. He’s moving into a very high dollor concave near Ft. Worth. He’s renting according to reports. He may be renting because he’s going to build a compound for himself, his family, his freinds and their families and his employees and their families. Whatever he’s doing he’s right in keeping to himself. The man is in danger. (We hear about revolution or CWII. I believe if the government comes after him that will be the spark that sets off the powder keg.)

As for his advice to be prepared, that’s also his Mormanism coming out. My wife’s sisters (Mormon) have two years food supply set aside. They’ve been rotating their supplies for 30 years. This is why I’d like for Glenn to be a little more specific. Exactly what does he think is going to happen? I’d like someone to be specific about long term survival. Is this going to be like the film they’ve been showing called AFTER ARMEGGEDON?

I really don’t care about someone else’s bigoted obsession with Glenn’s chosen faith. There’s no point in sending me to those threads that are posted by an obvious troll.

I agree with you.

To my dismay, I actually had to champion Beck here too. There are people who call themselves Conservatives, that don’t see the need for informing the public about what Soros, Obama, and other Leftist are up to.

The guy laid it out better than anyone else on television. He had a highly visible place to do it. Today a voice is silenced in that arena, for now.

I know Beck is still on the air, but his message is much broader than that. We have a nation that needs to be informed, and some folks don’t care if one venue that was informing our populace has just evaporated.

Whether folks could grasp what he was saying or not, he was at least planting seeds. Folks know who Soros is, because of Glenn Beck. When his name surfaces again, they will realize, wow, Glenn was right. That’s just one aspect of what Glenn was talking about on that program.

This is a very happy day for the Left.

But painting with a broadbrush isn’t the subject I was adressing.

Well that is the topic of discussion.

This: Beck said he dislikes members of the GOP immensely, according to Politico...“I hate them. I think they are as much of a problem as the other side,"

and the title of this thread (Glenn Beck: I Hate Republicans, Too) is what we are talking about.

He deserves to be mocked for that position alone. It makes him a liar, a non-Christian, and a self-aggrandizing shlub... The crying man is just something additional that I'm not into.

Although Beck is usually right, I'd sooner hear a good manly PO'd rant, such as Savage or Levin can deliver, rather than Beck or Boehner blubbering on.

Let me just state clearly to Beck, and all other non-partisan hacks (like Ted Baxter, Lou Dobbs etc)..."the Republicans" are not "the Republicans"

Name names, or just shut up.

“I was addressing your referencing of him as “cryboy””

That was the topic of my discussion with you in particular.

But, it no longer matters, I’ve said my piece on it. What I said on that will either reach you, or it won’t.

As far as the topic of the thread, I stated that I don’t like ‘em either, and by “’em”, I mean the GOP, not the rank and file, but those in power, with the exception of a few of them, such as Bachmann, Demint, and Sessions. But for the most part, the GOP is part of the problem in my eyes.

I’m a conservative and a patriot, and I don’t really see much of that coming out of the GOP as a whole.

All that being said,

Happy Independence Day weekend, ROCKLOBSTER.

Nothing worse than a lying-crybaby-hater. (Oooh look at me, I hate the Republicans too, listen to my program, I'm just like you).

Does he have a problem with the TEA Party office holders too, or just the ones that are Democrats? I guess the GOP slapdowns on the liberals in the new red states means nothing.

Lobster, he isn’t lying. That was the entire point of my posts to you.

Whether or not you like what he says or agree with what he says is entirely up to you, but the man believes what he says, and that is why he cries when he says it at times.

Go back and read my posts to you again, if you will.

I’m going to go as far as to say I don’t want anyone ruling me aside from God. Not dems, not repubs. not TEA party people, no man.

I don’t need or want any of them to rule me. I rule myself.

he isn’t lying

Of course he is! If not, he will never endorse a conservative ideal nor have a Republican on his show.

So now he hates Sarah Palin. Right?

I think you're misreading Beck. Those traits can just as easily describe a person that can't distinguish between what's important and what's unimportant. Drive alone isn't determinative of success, as one can be driven towards poorly formed or unproductive goals.

I have consistently seen Beck as an unstable personality, perhaps of questionable sincerity. Obviously, Beck’s “driven” ambitions didn’t create and cultivate a growing audience. His Fox show peaked then began losing viewers, and the deal with Fox News ultimately came to an end because Beck alienated viewers and advertisers with his kookiness that left him with a few like-minded fans.

In reality, it is only the lazy and envious, sitting around and complaining about others, that tend to be the losers of society.

I certainly don’t spend time sitting around making fantasy awards, or even spend that much time on FR, because of my work commitments and many other activities that keep me totally busy. But it seems that just as Beck’s paranoid style and thin skin to criticism, his few remaining followers have problems with better judgment as well.
