The Passing of Beloved Freeper Just Lori

"It is with a very heavy heart that I share with you all , our Just Lori passed away early this morning in her home. Lori’s husband called me and shared the news this morning.

Just Lori was my friend and while I never met her in person, she was as close as a sister to me. Lori could be funny, inventive, a grammar nazi, or Queen for a Day. She was awesome.

May God bless her, her husband Walt, their friends and family and we freepers who so loved and enjoyed her love for God, country, and accountability in life.

Thank you Loretta......you were always more that Just Lori."

I understand it had something to do with her liver. I don’t know if it was liver cancer or what.

I don’t think she was very old either. Anyone know how old she was?

who was she? in real life I mean. At times I feel sad that we make all these deep, close friends with whom we share so much, yet we don't even know their names and would pass them on the street without murmur.

May the Lord bless and keep Lori with Him. May we remember her in her time here and remember how we miss her and remember that she is with the Lord in Heaven...

Jim, thank you so very much for creating Free Republic and giving me, and all of us here, the chance to be part of this great circle of friendship -- it's adversarial at times, but also the friendship of patriots. I'm sitting here weeping half in sorrow for Just Lori, and half in gratitude to God for making it possible.
