For 25 years, war has fortified and nearly destroyed the ties binding John McCain and John F. Kerry.
(snip)
Concerned about what they see as an isolationist and fearful drift in both of their parties, Kerry (D-Mass.) and McCain (R-Ariz.) are advocating an even more forceful role for America in the world.
(snip)
Kerry and McCain are leading the fight in Congress to shore up support for U.S. action in Libya...
(snip)
The elder statesmen are also hoping to forge something resembling a Marshall Plan for the Middle East...
(snip)
But the Kerry-McCain partnership was derailed when Kerry won his partys 2004 presidential nomination.
Kerry offered McCain the vice presidential spot. McCains camp says he repeatedly said no but the Democrat wouldnt give up; Kerrys camp says McCain considered the offer. After the proposal leaked to the news media, everyone became angry.

Kerry was a disgrace as an officer.
I might not like McCain, but he served with honor. His time as a POW was consistent with the conduct of a Navy Officer and a gentleman.

True, but he should have never been allowed to set down in a plane, how many did old last in his class crash.

Sorry, but both of these guys should go pick up Lindsey Graham and drive off into the sunset. Three of the most useless (and harmful) Senators in Congress.

I’m so glad people sold out their beliefs to back this pile of crap for re-election. /s
On the bright side, we only have 5.5 years until his current term is over.
Lord give me strength.

Wasn’t it these two who teamed up on the Viet Nam normalization agreement to assure that NV would not be required to repatriate all remains and living captives?
And they are teaming up again!

Kerry only supports this because he knows the enemies of the U. S. will be strengthened by it. He actually thinks we should pay these terrorist loving states to support their causes.
Lest someone think I’m going easy on McCain, he’s doing it for the same reason and one more.
He thinks it makes him look like a statesman. No John, it makes you look like John Kerry, the farthest thing from a statesman.
Where’s a law-abiding legal U. S. Government firing squad when you need one?

Well put. I believe that Kerry cares little for his country
in comparison to his own self worth. I believe McCain to be
misguided, but is still loyal to his country.
