This is interesting. Gay men especially have never been know for their monagamy and those who compare the behavior to heterosexuals just don't understand the scope of difference. We've been told that if only they could marry it would fix things. All the disproportionate drug use, sex abuse, and suicide would disappear and now they encourage young kids to be "out and proud" which increases dramatically their chances of contracting serious and sometimes deadly STDs and for what to push forward what is just a myth.

No one is born gay, there is not one study showing that is the case and even though twin studies have shown the opposite we still have the lie repeated over and over again as if it is truth when it is not. And while no one is born gay they can certainly die that way and having our heads in the sand won't save anyone from that fate.

I never believed anyone was born a homosexual.

I always thought that to allow someone to be born that way, and then condemn the practice would be rather sadistic on the part of God.

Given that gay men have many times more sexual partners than heterosexual men, for every gay man who believe he is in a “serious, long-term” relationships, it usually turns out that their “partners” are not.

Homosexuals are notorious for participating in F__K trains which almost always involve multiple partners in one night.

Then they have the nerve to demand government money spent on research for AIDS.

I have worked with more than a few gays who have admitted that they engaged in this activity.

No joke. If you dare, take a look at bareback dot com. Hint: it is not for heteros.

I once told somebody that HIV was more likely in gay men...the conversation started with DADT...some Navy ships create their own emergency blood supply with donations from the crew...and a gay crew puts the blood supply at risk. I had CDC numbers to back me up.

Response: Your CDC numbers are outdated. Ah - the liberal mind - historical data can be ‘outdated’.

On a side note, I actually believe some people are born gay, or at least intrinsically gay (i.e. not just acting gay to get attention, get back at the parents, etc.). However, the fact that you are ‘born gay’ does not make it correct, or normal. If you are born with 9 toes, or some crippling condition, it is not considered ‘normal’. If you grow up to be a psychopathic serial killer...you have a mental disease...and it is not ‘tolerated’. Homosexuality used to be considered a ‘mental disorder’...I think until the 1980’s. So I say yes, you can be born that way....but don’t fall into the trap of conceding that this standard (if proven) means gays are normal...somebody finds two male dogs humping each other, and they declare ‘its natural’, under that standard.

Ummmm, AIDS is like a bad cold - it's devolved... That said you win the lottery when you get HIV - the prize? A LIFETIME of full Social Security benefits - no questions asked - for as long as you live... starting at 30 collecting until 90 years old... Yep, it'll break the system for those who really are disabled.

It's called 'Disability' and it's the newest best Dem scam ...

ONE in nineteen Americans are NOW considered disabled... gang-bangers, drug addicts, HIV winners, alcoholics, people with bad tempers ... YOU ARE PAYING FOR THEM TO BANKRUPT Social Security.

"Instead, both people in a serious, monogamous couple relationship should go and receive at least two HIV tests before deciding to stop using condoms."

Otherwise a baby might grow in their tummy.

As soon as they find a “gay gene” it will be interesting to see the liberals change their view on abortion.

Of course people in "serious relationships" are less likely to use protection during sex; that's likely true for everyone.

The factor that makes this different for "gay males" is, stated further down in the report:

"About 80 percent of gay young men who are HIV positive don't know it, because they aren't being tested frequently enough, he noted."

It's like living in a "village" where (a) you a now an "epidemic" is raging, (b) you know it is spread by person-to-person contact, (c) you know you can find out if you or someone else is already infected and (d) both of you choose to not find out before starting a "serious relationship".

Had those in the "serious relationship" bothered to take simple blood tests, the issue of "unprotected sex" would not have the level of concern the article gives it. It has that level primarily due to the lack of concern about blood tests that precedes too many "serious relationships" in the "village" in question.

Ah, but, a “Lady Gaga” (whatever that is), sings a song “Born This Way”. See the debate is over about homosexuality. Even though we don’t really know for sure what causes homosexuality, the liberals, Hollywood idiots, MSM talking heads, etc. have declared that discussion to be over. The debate is over to paraphrase Al Gore.

“The findings provide a new direction for prevention efforts in this population who account for nearly 70 percent of all new HIV/AIDS diagnoses in adolescents and young adults in the United States and who also have the highest increase in new infections.”

I know that I am redundant when I am saying this, but the 70 percent figure is pretty sick when you consider how minute of a fraction homosexuality is out of the population as a whole(1 or 2 percent).”

Unprotected Sex More Likely in Serious Gay Hetero Relationships, Research Suggests.

If you define serious as married and monogamous.

Gay young men in serious relationships are six times more likely to have unprotected sex than those who hook up with casual partners,

Uh. . . wouldn't the same obviously be true for straight men (and women) too?

With all we’ve learned about HIV/AIDS over the last 30 years, there is NO excuse for any homosexual man to get the disease today. If they are not protecting themselves, they have no one but themselves to blame, anymore.

“Serious” means only 1 other outside partner a week. Unless the “serious” partner knows about it, and then it’s unlimited.

Gay young men in serious relationships

Notice they very carefully don't say "monogamous" relationship.

Most gay men in "serious relationships" have the equivalent of an extremely "open" heterosexual marriage.
