CBN's David Brody interview Michele Bachmann in Iowa tonight, where she insists she 'likes' Sarah Palin and downplays reports, including by POLITICO, about jockeying between the two women:
Brody: “Set the record straight with us on your relationship with Sarah Palin because the media wants to pit you, if not pit you against Sarah Palin they certainly want to compare you two. And I’m wondering how you see it specifically as it relates to Governor Palin.”
Bachmann: “I like her a lot. We’re friends. I have great admiration for her, great respect for her, and we’ve never had a cross word between us. We are friends. And I think that you’re right, I think that’s a fiction from the media. I doubt that the Governor feels that way, it certainly doesn’t reflect my view, and I only wish her well in what she’s doing right now.”

Sarah always talked about politician needing that ‘steel’ spine. I don’t notice any other candidates talking about any kind of spine. IMO, Bachmann has cabbaged onto a lot of what Sarah has been saying for 3 years plus.

I tried my best today to get through on Levin (busy signal), but will continue to try both him and Rush this week to bring awareness to them that the attacks Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain are getting aren’t just coming from the left MSM or the “inside the Beltway conservative intelligencia”, but from supposed conservatives that are hell-bent on destroying whatever threat to their candidate stands in their way and rewriting history.
To those Palin supporters that feel it necessary to disparage and denigrate the other conservatives in the race, I challenge you to call Rush and Levin and state your case why you think these two individuals deserve to be called “RINO’s, “Stalking Horses”, “frauds”, etc. I’m sure if you state your case to Snerdley or Mr. Producer, you’ll get pushed to the front of the line on air. Of course, after they eat you alive and cut you off after you babble for the 5th time “But Rollins....”, you can then come back out here and accuse them of having Palin Derangement Syndrome as well.
Mark Levin had a good audio show tonight. I highly suggest you listen to it. Seems he has no problems still holding MB in high regards despite Ed Rollins. My guess is that he would tell you to “get over it”, then cut you off the air.
You are exactly right. Bachmann is Crane with less experience, less loyalty and more gaffes. And she is up against the best in Sarah Palin. The last two days have exposed her for just how small a bit player she is. When Palin announces, Bachmann will evaporate like a single raindrop on a New Orleans sidewalk in August.

Mark Levin ain’t gonna be able to drag Bachmann across the finish line. with her baggage and foot in mouth disease. He won’t even try. He is being evenhanded. That is all. If you find something he has said to disparage Palin or her supporters in any way, do please post it.

This whole blowup with Chris Wallace over the weekend? Chris has said worse of Gov Palin and never felt the need to apologize. True he was kind to Gov Palin a few weeks ago, but prior to that, he was asking people (with a smurk on his face) if Palin was qualified to be President...saying that all she cares about is making money.
AT ANY RATE...MB says it was not right to suggest that any candidate is not a serious person, as Wallace sort of suggested to MB. OK THEN, WHY HAVE YOU NOT APOLOGIZED,AND APOLOGIZED PUBLICLY TO GOV PALIN FOR ED ROLLINS REPEATED COMMENTS???
