Colombian women on sex strike until road is paved

BOGOTA (BNO NEWS) -- Almost 300 hundred women in southwest Colombia vowed to withhold sex from their husbands until the government paves the connecting road into their village, Colombia Reports said on Friday.

Dubbed the "strike of crossed legs," the women in the town of Barbacoas near the Pacific coast are trying to persuade their husbands to pressure local authorities to properly maintain the main road out of their village which stretches some 35 miles (56 kilometers) before reaching the nearest town. Many husbands of the women on strike, however, said that they would prefer that their wives engage in a hunger strike instead.

It currently takes about 12 to 14 hours to reach the nearest hospital. More than a dozen medical patients have died on the road before reaching the hospital.

Colombia has a recent history of sex-strikes. In 1997, Colombia's military chief Manuel Bonnet called for a sex-strike among the wives of paramilitaries, guerillas, and drug lords to promote peace. In 2006, wives and girlfriends of gang members also went on a sex strike in central Colombia after their city suffered a period of violence that left 480 people dead.

A good way to guarantee that even after the strike is over, that you won’t get laid.

Ha! ha! ha! ha!

Or maybe the wives treat their husbands like “daddys” and want stuff

;)

Jokes aside, marriage rocks. I would not trade it in for anything else. I did the single life in my 20s and while it had a lot of positive points, I would not want to go back to it again.

I like having a family...It makes my house a home..

I see vans full of hookers with “Bogota or Bust” emblazoned on their sides racing up the road.

I think if they offered the columbian politicians sex for paving the road they would probably get further. Who cares if they say no to their husbands, besides their husbands that is? And if they look like hillary clinton, olympia so swnoe, susie collins or nancy pelosi even their husbands won't care, they may even petition the govt to leave the road unpaved.

Unless the sex strike is directly affecting the leaders this will do absolutely no good at all.

This is how the Feminazi movement in the US got started. Story goes a bunch of women said to their husbands that unless they are nicer to them, there will be no sex.

The husbands said fine and went back to watching the Giant-Redskin game.

Sex begins in the morning. If you want sex be nice all day. The woman will reflect back to the man what he feeds her. If he’s nice, she’s nice. If he is a jerk, fahgedaboudit

Unfortunately, a lot of women behave in a manner completely opposite. Often, you see women chasing after guys who treat them like crap.

Jokes aside, if you’d spent any time there you’d know that collectively and percentage-wise Columbian women are some of the most beautiful in the world.

I was once married to a woman who withheld sex until she got exactly what she wanted. It was difficult enough for me, but the milkman, mailman, plumber, electrician and gardner really had it rough!

“Many husbands would prefer their wives would do a hunger strike instead.”

Perhaps the strike of ‘crossed legs’ may well backfire for many of these women.
