Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) on Wednesday knocked down media reports that her nationwide bus tour has come to an end after completing only its first leg.
Palin, a potential presidential candidate, sought to put an end to speculation that her "One Nation" tour is over. The talk was sparked by a RealClearPolitics report said that it's going on hiatus. Other news organizations reported that the tour is coming to an end.
"I did? Hmm, glad I have media to let me know my plans.

"Almost all Kentuckians fought in the Western theater... "
I know there were Ky units fighting for both sides at Murfreesboro, TN - do you know if they fought directly against each other though? I got that impression from somewhere, but it's a hazy recollection...

I know there were Kentucky units engaged with other Kentuckians at Shiloh, Murfeesboro, Vicksburg, and several other battles.
The largest battle fought in Kentucky, Perryville, had a large number of Kentuckians on the Union side, but only a few companies of Kentucky cavalry on the Confederate side. Most of the Confederate Kentuckians were down in Mississippi with Maj. Gen. Breckinridge's Corps. He did not get along with Gen. Bragg, the Confederate commander of the invasion of Kentucky, so his force was sent down to fight at Baton Rouge.

There are rumors that he once drew up charges against himself.

Yeah...just make it a day when there’s not a local flash mob on the boardwalk (like that recent day in Brighton Beach.)
It’s more dangerous than Afghanistan there.

Reagan did not have a similar amount of negative opinion against him when he ran... Oh really?

MSM = evil. Palin plays them like a Stradavarius. Gosh, she has incredible political instincts... I think she also has a well deserved contempt for the press.

She'll do something real splashy for 4th of July. The 4th is a lousy time to do anything, no one will be paying attention. I know I won't. Our July 4th celebrations don't include tv or following the news cycle.

One thing republicans do is believe the worst is coming about most anything. Sit is true. It is almost as if we give up before running the race. And it puts us at a disadvantage to be looking for bad signs all the time. MOO
A stronger party points to the good they have done, are doing and will do. Negativity breeds negativity. The Main Stream Medias ARE NEGATIVE ON ALL THINGS REPUBLICAN. Please do not think or believe their opinion is actually truth.

Funniest comment I ever heard there: A woman asked her husband how so many guys were killed when they could have hidden behind all the marble monuments.
LMAO!!!
I've been to Gettysburg,and it's a wonderful place,very rich in history.The little shops,the double-decker bus tour,the serenity of the rolling battleground fields...very nice.
I love the house with the cannonball hole through the front part of the roof gable....and the huge patina-colored cannon.
There is so much to see there, and it's difficult to take in in one day or even a weekend.Real civil war buffs will love it,and anyone who loves American history in general will enjoy it.
There was a Sam Colt museum there at one time, but I think it's closed now.

An August announcement would be brilliant. Think how many reporters’ vacations would be interrupted!
