Pixar Animation mastermind John Lasseter says the company has no environmental agenda, but with "Cars 2," the blockbuster outfit does tap into today's eco-mindedness with a plot driven by oil vs. a cleaner alternative.
Debuting in U.S. theaters Friday, "Cars 2" sends race car Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen Wilson) on a World Grand Prix circuit whose organizer fuels the vehicles with a green alternative called Allinol, prompting the bad guys to try to discredit the new power supply that threatens traditional gasoline.

Ping.
We’ll be skipping that little piece of indoctrination then.
anyone surprised??? Wall-E, while being a great animation, had a far, left-wing message...
Christians, Conservatives, listen up: Hollywood Hates You!!
I remember when we all served time under Carter’s term, they (his admin) tried to get the various auto racing community to put a top speed on racing at about 120 mph. They argued that people didn’t want speed, they enjoyed the strategy employed on the track by the winning drivers.
McQueen’s car would likely have crap horsepower and no pickup. Lame.
Yep.
Several generations of living in the socialist nanny-state cruise ship turned humanity into a bunch of fat, infantile, ignorant, incompetent dolts.
Now there's a real left-wing message for you.

Give us a break, please!! I was looking forward to seeing this new episode since I enjoyed the first one so much - it had visual interest and a great story. I think I’ll skip this eco-sermon.
Go see “Thor” - a fun story, great effects, good humor, no profanity or sex.
Hopefully, “Captain America” won’t be a bust.
What’s so sad is that Cars-2 will still make a fortune and millions of people will see this.
^ This.
It's odd: Pixar is based physically in Emeryville, an East Bay tiny pro-business city that is jammed full of businesses seeking to escape the higher taxes of Oakland and other surround leftist cities.
So Pixar seeks the benefits of pro-business policies itself, while promoting big government crapola in this movie (it seems).
Why not? "Allinol"is a lie... In reality there is no "Allinol" ..in reality "Allinol" is fantasy ..in reality "Allinol" is a fairytale...just like most all "green" claims are in the real world
The truly funny funny thing is a true real world "green" fuel would be renewable (You can make it) and would have to get more energy out of it then the energy it take to make it...the same same that would make something green would also may it cheap and therefor profitably and a winner in the market
EPA and ecofreaks eye-candy propaganda.
Our three kids will get the truth before we go to see the movie. Then, we’ll all enjoy the flick for the visual and audio treat that it is.
I won’t miss the newsboys singing City to City for anything. :)
I remember Rush doing a segment on “Utopium”. The miracle fuel of the future. Clean burning, ultimate mileage. Its only drawback was.....it didn’t exist.
Yeah. I'm all for a REAL green fuel - anything to stick it to the Saudis - but there just isn't one. Remember the old joke about invasion by aliens, who ate garbage & pissed gasoline?
Oh great, my five year old really wants to see this.
Well on Rotten Tomatoes its getting horrid reviews by early screenings. Combine that with this garbage and I see another Wall-E coming. A decent opening weekend and then off a cliff.
