One aspect of the Delphi was that she was supposed to incant in the poetic meter. Jaynes gets into this in The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind. I think it’s some type of sexameter, but I would have to look it up.
Do you folks REALLY know what the Delphi technique is??
I mean, not Alinsky crap, but the technique developed at Rand??
It is simple a method for futures forecasting or problem solving that allows discussion without egos interfering.

The Delphi Technique is just a manipulation of the Hegelian Dialectic Process.
Of course The Hegelian Dialectic itself is a manipulative process inherently.
Difference is is that the Delphi Technique attempts to pass itself off as totally unbiased and totally participant driven. The moderator (who actually steers things to their pre-determined outcome) claims just to be a facilitator, not caring how it ends up one way or the other.
The easiest thing to think of is that the moderator is like the liberal news media who claims to be unbiased (but now everyone knows it isn’t true). That’s why liberal news is failing so hard, nobody believes them because it’s so blatant and too many people know they aren’t.
SEXAMETER is to me as ridiculous as trying to
intellectually elevate Shakespeares herky jerky
cadences by calling them iambic pantameter.

When it comes to sexameters, do you prefer the newer ones with the digital readout or the older type with an analog gauge?
LOL! I’m old school - tactile analogue any day.
I bought a Chinese 6” digital caliper that reads both millimeters and inches for $15. I liked it so much I bought another. It is accurate to 3 decimals.
I tool it to a shop with calibrated guages and it was perfect for every guage.
