One aspect of the Delphi was that she was supposed to incant in the poetic meter. Jaynes gets into this in The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind. I think it’s some type of sexameter, but I would have to look it up.
SEXAMETER is to me as ridiculous as trying to
intellectually elevate Shakespeares herky jerky
cadences by calling them iambic pantameter.

When it comes to sexameters, do you prefer the newer ones with the digital readout or the older type with an analog gauge?
