Romney may not be able to tell a joke.
But he IS a joke.

While I am no fan of Mitt Romney, this kind of petty sniping is insipid and distasteful. Is the ability to tell the right jokes and cajole smoothly under all circumstances the reason we elect Presidents? God help us if that is the case.

Now Obama at the correspondents’ dinner, “Brian Williams clogged the toilet, “ or “ I asked Brian to roll over and turn out the light”— that’s real humor( plus he had a speech-writer for it).

Insipid and distasteful is about the bench mark for this homunculus.

I wonder why Dana didn’t call attention to candidate Obama’s ‘awkward’ statement that he’d been to all 57 states?
While I’m not particularly a fan of Romney, I hate the blatant bias that attacks GOP candidates but gives BO’s gaffs a pass!
Certainly BO’s recent joke on ‘shovel ready’ projects not being as ‘shovel ready’ as hoped was not funny to millions of unemployed Americans!
Why didn’t Dana write a column on that one? BIAS of course!

Romney is NOT my first choice. But this is the WaPo, enemy of Western civilization, helping us destroy Romney. They know, if we don’t, that helping to destroy Republicans helps to elect the beast to a second term. They are helping us to “Nixon” him.
So, to hell with WaPo, the MSM, and all of the bastards. I’ll vote for Romney if he is the nominee. Better a RINO than a Marxist.

In formal settings [Snip] Romney is confident and competent. But in casual moments, such as Tuesday mornings retail politics in New Hampshire, his weirdness comes through equal parts Leave It to Beaver corniness and social awkwardness.
In other words, in formal settings where he doesn't have to be a real person but just look like one he appears okay but in actual personal interaction it becomes evident that, as far as persons go, there's only the other guy present.

I’m just being honest here. You think what the Lib MSM does to Palin/Bachmann is bad? They’re going to make mincemeat of this guy if he’s the nominee...

Have to agree with you. Small talk with strangers is not easy. You can easily get tongue tied or have a brief brain fart and say something that comes off as lame or stupid. Look at Palin, she was just making chit chat when she said Paul Revere was racing to warn the British. It can happen to anyone.
