I think people have said it as a joke, but if Romney changed parties and challenged Obama for the Dem nomination, he might have an excellent chance of being the next president. But, as a Republican? That’s not gonna happen.

Romney demonstrates once again how ths country is cursed with useless politicians,when what we need is God-fearing patriots.

Romney and Obama are competing for the same 40% to 45% of liberal Democrats and liberal RINOs.

Romney learned well from McCain's success.

You don't have to be a conservative, because most conservatives aren't really paying attention.

I think this proves Palin will run, why else would Willard veer left before the primaries even start?

If conventional wisdom is that Republican candidates should run to the right in the primaries then move to the center once the get the nomination. I will hate to see what happens if Romney gets the nomination, he's so far left already he might end up to the left of Obama before the election.

From the articel:

“Or maybe he thinks tea partiers will line up for him if he’s the nominee no matter what he says or does — which, according to Rasmussen’s new poll, might be true!”

That is the plan. A vote for Trotsky instead of Stalin is not the way forward, comrades.

Why doesnt Romney just get the whole thing over with and wear clown shoes and a big red wig? Honestly, he would still get into trouble even if his advisors super-glued his mouth closed!

So what's new? Willard's been flipping and flopping on abortion since the 1970`s!

"I RESPECT and will protect a woman's right to choose. . . . Women should be free to choose based on their own beliefs, not mine and not the government's."
~~~ Mitt Romney to NARAL, April 2002
2002 Video Link: Ann & Mitt Romney on Abortion
2005 Video Link: Romney Pro-life Pretender
Kick Willard to the curb.
Lets nominate a red blooded conservative.
Romney has to be crushed. He is spitting in the eye of Conservatives because he thinks the GOP is so hard up for a winning candidate it has to be him. As bad as he is now he will get worse if his poll numbers strengthen. What the Tea Parties stood for dies if this asshole is the GOP candidate.
Ah, there are thousands of reasons to dislike Mr. Constipation.
I’m not sure I would sign the “pledge”, if I were running. I would tell people what I believe and I’d act accordingly in everything I did. I don’t want to sign no stinkin’ pledges for every group that wants one issue pushed.
This makes him look like he’s inching back towards his pro-choice past.
I think the author shoud have used the verb “slinking” not “inching”.
This doesn’t sound like the strategy of someone who thinks he’s the frontrunner so much as a near-desperation strategy of someone who’s trying to stake out unoccupied turf early in hopes that the electorate will happen to shift toward it by the primary season.
I'm super lazy but for keywords can we add "mantan"?
I don't know if Mitt goes into those machines or sprays crap on him, but he clearly is changing the color of his skin using fake crap.
I'm trying to be PG but I really dislike Mitt Romney. I really am disgusted that 33% of so called "Republicans" support this absolute FRAUD!!!
Mitt Romney agrees with maybe less than 1% of my values.
My vote as of today goes to Bachmann and the Tea Party. I like Cain but he doesn't have any experience in in the Government and Bachmann has the charisma to win this!!!
Maybe he’d just like to stay “unemployed”.
In truth, he knows if he sign this all that media love from the Washington Post, CNN, etc. will vanish.
Hopefully, conservatives will know a maverick when they see one ...and know to run away from him as fast as they can.
It’s a crappy pledge. It includes a promise to sign on to grossly immoral, blatantly unconstitutional legislation. I wouldn’t sign it.
And Romney still sucks.
