Darrell Issa, Allen West Vote To KEEP Pigford Funds
Big Government ^ | 16 June 2011 | Lee Stranahan

Rep. King’s amendment failed – here’s the roll call vote. Every Democrat voted against it – but it lost because 78 Republicans also went against stopping over a billion dollars in money being paid out for fraud. Two votes jumped out at me.

Tea Party favorite Allen West (R-FL) voted with the Congressional Black Caucus to keep Pigford funding flowing to fraudsters.

But worse, Darrell Issa (R-CA), who would be the one to get investigations going.

I can easily believe that the RINOS are doing exactly that, but they will only get so far with so many. With West, here’s a guy that has made and ended a career by refusing to go along to get along.

Poe, I know little about so I can’t really comment on him with any knowledge, but as I said, you have a Hardcore Conservative (Franks, who I interviewed when he first ran and later spoke with ‘off the record’ for nearly an hour while he made his staff wait in a truck...they were not happy ;) going one way, and another, West, taking the opposite path.

Both are rock solid on our team, so what gives? “Everything” we know about West’s honor/integrity says he would not vote this way. That he did tells me there’s a reason for that and that reason does not depart from who he is and what he believes in.

The only other possibility is that he sold out and I cannot believe that so easily.

So they vote to uphold a proven financial fraud against the United States. But they support the stupid Paul Ryan "plan" which has absolutely no chance of becoming law, and served only to throw the desperate RATs a lifeline with a "GOP plan to kill Medicare" talking point for 2012. How stupid is John Boehner?

I mean John Stossel and others have interviewed the ambulance chasing lawyer who ADMITTED these people were NOT farmers, and even walked off the set, yet they keep sending billions to his plaintiffs? Disgusting!

Ted Poe has been our Congressman forever. He has as far as I can see been solid conservative. I can’t believe either of them would sell out; so possibly someone got something wrong. The Dims and RINOS will do anything to bring down a conservative. There has been a lot of that lately. These people need to go.

Why are they lumping West with the Black Caucus? I think he was going to join to “bug” them.

MB showed her colors with Rollins and getting cozy with Myth to help stop Sarah. Disgusting!!!

How did MBachman vote on this issue?

She voted Yes. She lost me when she voted for the Patriot Act.

Unfortunately your atatement is very true.

I won’t give up on West because of this, but it does strain my support.

I would like to hear an explanation.

Better to find out about RINO leanings now than to wait until after another major election like we did with the current crop of congress critters.

This is the problem with bills that cover multiple issues. Who knows what kind of BS is included.

Not2worry-I was informed that MB has engaged a “trainer” to solve her problems.

When I learned this I crossed her off my list. I want a leader not a trained show dog.

Goodbye, Colonel West.

Very disturbing. I guess his vote to continue to fund ObamaCare several weeks back was not an aberration.

Bachmann has been a big fighter on this Pigford scam. She is not cozy with Romney and she voted the way she was supposed to vote.

Her colors are Red, White and Blue, and she IS a candidate.

Sorry, but MB is so cozy to Mittens she continues to avoid any criticism of RomneyCare and has allowed Rollins’ dispicable attack on Sarah to stand without directly commenting.

MB sold her political soul to Mittens to be his VP to be a stalking horse and dilute Sarah’s support.

“Use your mentality and wake up to reality”

....and stop being such a Sarah hater!

Yup. Those things have to stop. If we can only get ‘the power’ to end the practice, we damn well better. All the ‘riders’ have created nothing but bloat and are a sure path to more Dem control. They benefit no one or no thing else.

“Why are they lumping West with the Black Caucus? I think he was going to join to “bug” them.”

So that if/when Conservatives abandon him they can pull the race card on the Tea Party.

“Her colors are Red, White and Blue, and she IS a candidate.”

A RINO candidate as shown by her recent actions... and for which Mitt surely thanks her. As does the Old Guard Repubs.

FTR, Herman Cain says that he will not sign any bills that are “not clean” - meaning he will not sign any bills that do not stick to one subject matter. Without belaboring the point of how viable that is, this is the kind of “right between the eyes” focus we need on this issue.

Soooo many issues would take care of themselves with this one simple change in congress. There’s no reason we should be here wondering WTF Allen West and Darrell Issa are up to. These guys both have great credibility IMO, but this is a strange situation. Should not be, period.
