I can easily believe that the RINOS are doing exactly that, but they will only get so far with so many. With West, here’s a guy that has made and ended a career by refusing to go along to get along.

Poe, I know little about so I can’t really comment on him with any knowledge, but as I said, you have a Hardcore Conservative (Franks, who I interviewed when he first ran and later spoke with ‘off the record’ for nearly an hour while he made his staff wait in a truck...they were not happy ;) going one way, and another, West, taking the opposite path.

Both are rock solid on our team, so what gives? “Everything” we know about West’s honor/integrity says he would not vote this way. That he did tells me there’s a reason for that and that reason does not depart from who he is and what he believes in.

The only other possibility is that he sold out and I cannot believe that so easily.

Ted Poe has been our Congressman forever. He has as far as I can see been solid conservative. I can’t believe either of them would sell out; so possibly someone got something wrong. The Dims and RINOS will do anything to bring down a conservative. There has been a lot of that lately. These people need to go.

Ted Poe is very good, one of our brightest and best. But so is John Culberson and he voted with the R’s as did Ron Paul (also from Houston area), look like West and Poe have some explaining to do.
