Hi, Big Guy!

There have been many factors in the Texas fires, but as has already been said, someone did deliberately set at least one of the AZ fires. I hope they throw him in jail for a LONG time!

Put the fire-bug(s) in prison, then throw away the key.

...and then I just read this on our local tv station online....

“With our dangerously dry conditions, it’s the last thing you’d expect someone to do. Start a grassfire on purpose but that’s exactly what an Odessa man is accused of doing and more than once.”

They know who it is and had been watching him till they had the goods on him! Another one to throw away the key on! Grrrrr

Too kind, Sandy. Arson usually results in multiple offenses against society. It ought to be declared an act of terrorism, whether foreign or domestic makes no matter to me.

I just tried to Google the Az fires map and got Antarctica. Heard it was around Tucson.

Hi Hi Hi Hi Hi Hi!.

Still have 3 foster kittens ... but 2 are adopted, just waiting to be delivered in a week (after spaying.) All others have been adopted ... 4 litters' worth.

Been battling a respiratory bug, but I'm on the mend... slowly. Been hot here ... highest day was 98 so far.

My wonderful DH is still stateside, for another few months or so, before heading back to the sandbox.

Thanks Sandy. Pretty close to the traditional federally protected illegal alien crossing spots?

With that I'll stop here but you get my drift.

Do the docs give you any hint of how long it takes for all the bones to completely heal? Able to do most of what you did before (not including the roof)?

When I got home tonight my Dad had something on his face...seems when he went out for their Thursday night dinner, to Arby’s, he chose to go inside, but missed a step and went down hard. Banged up his knee, took a hunk out of his arm, and has a bleeding ouchie on the side of his forehead. Keeping an eye on the bleeding and I’ll need to dress it before he goes to bed.

He is going to have some really nice black and blue areas. Need to keep a close eye as he is on blood thinners.

Yes it is. The fire was entering Miller Canyon this morning, and we could smell the smoke here in the middle of town...

Hi Hi Hi, Perky...((HUGS))...my goodness you’ve fostered a lot of kitties. Very nice that they are going to good homes.

How have they gotten along with your permanent residents?

Oh no....respiratory issues are not fun. Glad you are on the mend. AND hubby is home. Nice!

WOW!! That really puts a face to the fire. Wildfires have a very interesting “look” from afar, but up close...very unpredictable as they make their own weather.

Prayers for all the firefighters, as well as all those in the path or already affected.

Thanks, Kathy. My neighbor is out there on the lines; he’s with the Forest Service. He has been home once in the last month.

I’m going to call it a night - see you tomorrow.

The Docs haven’t given me a time for complete healing.

Take care of your Dad.
