He apparently owned a 16 year old “Large Diesel Truck” that the police couldn’t estimate the value of. They needed to go in and get the truck specifications so they could determine how much drug money might have been laundered by buying same.

"I have never figured out why raids like this are necessary."
SWAT Teams have budgets that need justification. That drives ~80% of SWAT activities to serving search warrants as they don't typically have much to do otherwise.

An example of Obama's "Domestic army as well equipped as the Military force." Be careful America..you have a dedicated anti-american Marxist in the peoples house. It is only one short step to a total military style dictatorship.

...it is a way to evade the letter and spirit of the Posse Comitatus act which was passed, in part, to prevent abuses of power exactly like this. Well said - that's exactly what SWAT is: the use of military force against the civilian population by another name, complete with "laws" that deny normal police restraint against the civilan population.

So how do you justify your support for violating the Constitution with the Wickard Commerce Clause?

That is correct. They fired 71 times and hit him 22 times.

This was nothing more than a display of cowboy tactics by a bunch of undisciplined idiots. If this had happened in Iraq, the media would be all over it, looking for a trooper to hang out to dry.Best description I've read on this bunch of yahoos , you sure they aren't working for the cartels

“I thought they only had 22 hits.”
About 1/3rd of the shots are clustered 6’ - 18’ from the floor. It looks like they kept shooting him after he was down.

That question comes up right away, doesn’t it? Was this “law enforcement” or “managed crime”?
