Mitt Romney’s pinch of humor falls flat in N.H.
"Gov. Mitt Romney. The GOP presidential candidate,
fresh off a win at the debate in Manchester, N.H.,
yesterday popped into Mary Ann’s Diner in Derry,
where he thought he’d win over the waitresses
by pretending one of them tried to grab his butt.
During the photo op in front of the jukebox
with the poodle skirt-wearing gals,
Romney suddenly jumped forward with a startled look on his face,
and said, “Oh, my goodness!”
For the record, not one of startled servers did pinch an inch.
“I would never do that,” one of the tray jockeys
told a reporter from Politico.
Later, Mitt reported that he “was just teasing” the girls at Mary Ann’s,
This guy is no more natural a personality and politician than he was four years ago, and he’ll likely again record the most dollars spent per vote won in history.
If the statists have their way, we'll get a Mittiful candidate in 2012...

You think that Mitt would have learned something about the whole Weiner event. People aren’t that keen to sexual scandal. I don’t get how he thought this was a “tease”? Really? I am sure that the waitress having to say “I didn’t do THAT” was a real joy to her. IMHO.

I'm sure his family thought that was really funny - Dad was out on the campaign trail, and thought some complete stranger was so enamored of him that she would touch his bottom.

Yes I saw that and couldn/t believe it. Two days ago she was strong and respectful on our Sarah and now she pops up on the Faux News channel saying weird things about the the fat blubberosity from NJ - oh yeah that gungrabbing slob who snarked Christine O'Donnell - whatshisname. I don't get it. There has to be some explanation - an insider, tongue in cheek joke - if so, I missed it. Of course, she could have been engaging in some extreme sarcasm, in effect lumping The Willard with Fatty.
