Here's something you don't see every day: Jon Stewart defending Sarah Palin.
During a "Daily Show" segment entitled "P-mail," Stewart pounded the media for providing "full team coverage of the arbitrary release date of Sarah Palin's non-urgent e-mails"--and for feeding the former vice presidential candidate's sense of self-importance.
"Where would Palin get this notion that we're hanging on every word she's said or written?" Stewart asked, before playing a video montage of media outlets bracing for the release of a trove of 24,000 pages of emails she wrote as Alaskan governor. "Oh right. She got that idea because we are.""For some reason, the media went DEFCON 1," Stewart said, rolling clips of news outlets disappointed by the apparent absence of any smoking-gun revelations in the massive email dump.
In one segment, a CNN correspondent in Alaska describes an email from someone complaining, "Palin was spotted with Trig in a car not wearing an approved car seat."
"That story better end with Palin getting out of the car and beating the woman with a tire iron," Stewart said. "Why are you wasting our time?"

He’s trying to widen his audience. That’s why he’s been making guest appearances on Ted Baxter’s show.....
You give him too much credit. "Fair" has no meaning for him.
Come on, like Leibowitz wouldn’t have be all over any little morsel if it made Palin look bad. He and Colbert would have combined for an hour long special complete with song and dance numbers (starring creepy Colbert of course).
He’s pissed because the emails were showing her to be dutiful, smart and competent.
Can’t have that in the media!
Of course he can be trusted!
He is a Marxist and he can be trusted to say whatever promotes the party line and to do same.
Where was Anthony Weiner’s roommate BEFORE the release of Sarah’s emials?
Now that nothings been found to damage but only to help Sarah, liberals jump on the concern for her privacy bandwagon.
Nothing more than an attempt to stop investigations of Obama’s emials, etc.
Normally I do not like videos. They are an inefficient and time-wasting way to get information. But I make an exception for this one. I got talked into looking at it by yall and was well rewarded for the time. I have sent the link to friends.
With “defenders” like Jon Leibowitz and Kutcher, who needs enemies.
One thing’s for certain—the Marxists don’t want American voters to know the real Sarah Palin.
This tells me they don’t want people reading Palin’s emails.
If he’s a hardline Marxist he would do whatever he could to prevent voters from paying attention to Palin’s emails, which only portray her in a very favorable light.
And also, they may want to discredit the tactic of going after emails, lest someone get a FOIA request to explore electronic records of Obama’s mysterious past, the Democrat fingerprints on the housing collapse, etc.
The media screwed up big time. They’ve put it all out there in their attempts to destroy Palin. Stewart can’t defend it and is just like any of the leftist scumbags who had nothing against it when it was going on, but with nothing turning up are now acting offended when they know there will be questions on their boy 0bama’s emails and records and why are where the press are concerning that?!!
