Michele Bachmann Vows To ‘Repeal Obamacare’ But Refuses To Criticize Mitt Romney Or Romneycare

Republican Congresswoman Michele Bachmann vowed again in her appearance on GMA this morning to repeal the “job-killer” known as “Obamacare.” Yet despite several valiant attempts by George Stephanopoulos to get Bachmann to say something, anything, critical about frontrunner Mitt Romney, she refused to get off message and ignored his question completely.

When Stephanopoulos asked whether Bachmann had any critique of “Romneycare” in Massachusetts, Bachmann instead repeated “Obamacare will steamroll over all the state laws” and suggested that what anyone else will do, or has done, is not relevant to her plans. .

Bachmann is not a more serious or experienced candidate than Palin. She has less experience than Palin. Bachmann has no executive experience at all. She's never even run a town as an executive and she's going to run a country? Nor has she run a large campaign. And she picked a loser, Rollins, to work for her.

Not really. I was open to Cain, Palin and Bachmann until about 2 weeks ago. In the last 2 weeks Cain and Bachmanns supporters convinced me who to choose. And it wasn't either of them.

Plus, Sarah is not even running so far! So why are people acting like she is?

Because she probably is. The press is pushing people to declare more than a year before the election. She's biding her time. And driving the press nuts.

If shre jumps in and declares, by all means, than advocate forher, etc. But for he time being, it comes across as petty jealousy that she was not te one on the stage last night. That’s Sarah’s choice, not yours’, cains, bachmanns, etc.

And, if she doesnt jump in and throws her support behind Bachmann, then what?

Neither, it was simply a case of sticking with the message she wanted to get across. She is good at staying "on message".

I’m not ordering anyone around, Im telling you that until Sarah jumps in, she is not a candidate and focusing on petty squabbles and slights is not nearly as important as doing everything possible to get obama the hell out of office.

I think it is less of a matter of not wanting to slam someone and more a matter of wanting to stay "on message". When she has an opportunity to address the public in a media setting she is very good at staying focused on the message she wishes to deliver.

I understand that politicians get “schooled” on how to say something, what to say, what not to say etc... I think you hit the nail on the head. I have noticed many journalists try to “sway” off the subject into an area where they can “nab” the person in a negative light. I guess sort of like a chess game. You move here and there, hoping to get the person to react a certain way. I think by ignoring “other” GOP’ers and focusing entirely on ISSUES, she will do very well. IMHO

Someone SHOULD have taken on Mitt RINO since he is supposedly the frontrunner right now. We’ll see how many of us are saying “leave Mitt alone” when he’s selected as the nominee. He’s already the media’s darling after that debate. He is NO Republican so I don’t see why it would be wrong to attack him.

Your logic is flawed, because you're not taking into account that Bachmann does not equal Palin. There are very LARGE differences between these two candidates, which is why you see so many here staunchly advocating Palin or Die.

Until you actually listen to what scores of your fellow Freepers have been telling you, or you make an honest side-by-side comparison between Bachmann and Palin, you won't see what's right before your eyes.

Rollins made a comment that Palin was just not serious about being a candidate. Since we still do not see her name on the roster, that appears to be an accurate statement.

Once again, you reveal your (thinly veiled) disdain for Governor Palin, with that statement. The fact that Sarah Palin has not yet announced her intention to run for president does not mean that "she's not a serious candidate." Rollins' statement is NOT "accurate" by any means.

You're simply dubbing in your own opinion.
