A Troy man is accused of firing a gunshot at a man he found in bed with his wife early Wednesday, after the woman met the stranger on a late-night bike ride, police said.
Troy police say the 30-year-old mother of five children, ages 1-14, went for a bike ride at 4 a.m. Wednesday. She met a 30-year-old man walking down the street and invited the man back to her house for sex, reports said.
The man agreed, and they fell asleep afterward, police said. The husband returned at 5 a.m. and discovered the stranger in his bed, according to reports.
A confrontation ensued, and the husband retrieved his .45-caliber handgun, reports said. The stranger ran from the home in his underwear, leaving his cell phone, wallet and identification behind.
The husband chased him as he ran, firing one shot in the process, police said. The bullet struck the kitchen wall and ended up in a cupboard.
The other man escaped, but police later located and shot in the process, police said. The bullet struck the kitchen wall and ended up in a cupboard.
The other man escaped, but police later located and questioned him, reports said. The investigation is continuing.
I am dubious of the wife’s story.
Honestly, who goes bike riding at 4am, picks up a homeless guy and brings him home for some nookie?
That is just no way to start your day or, find your wife.
Larry The Cable Guy quote:
“Guns don’t kill people. Husbands that come home early do.”
I think he was shooting the wrong person.
She gets a lot done in an hour.... She was pedaling something.
um... yeah
went for a bike ride at 4AM
found a guy outside walking.... at 4AM
home, did it, and fell asleep before the husband comes home at 5 AM?
Its the wife he should have shot
The “wife” isn’t worth doing time for and the other man isn’t worth shooting in a way that can be traced back to the husband. If I were the husband, I’d charge the man $25 for the use of my woman.
“I thought my wife, whom I love more than anything was being raped.”
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
The real question is, how much was she charging?
To make things worst that is the 6’th time she has done that!
Jus’ use da crazy glue, makem stick togeder, hava mor fuuun
I am good enough of a shooter the man would not be able to stand up to pee anymore. And she would be on the street in 10 minutes so she could continue making a living the way she seems to want to.
I was being gracious to say she was worth $25. Some guys are more desperate.
There is the old joke about the Frenchman who found his wife in a delicate situation in his ben with another man. He promptly shot his wife dead. When he went before the judge, the judge asked the man why he shot his wife instead of the man and he replied....well then your honor I would have to shoot a different man every so often, this way I only had to shoot her once.
The wife has gotten her husband behind bars. She won. She will get it ALL.
Liberals.
Texas used to have an interesting take on this. If a spouse came home and found their spouse in bed with someone, if they shot one or the other it was premeditated murder. But if they shot them both, they could use the “heat of anger” defense for a lesser manslaughter charge.
I actually knew a man who answered and advertisement in a singles newspaper, and went to a woman’s apartment not knowing she was married. Her husband came home, and shot the man eight times with a .25 caliber handgun, including three right through the navel.
He was only in the hospital for a couple of weeks, and I later saw him at the gym, covered in entrance and exit wounds, exercising.
At that point, I swore I would never own a .25.
Remind’s me of my uncle saying about his wife (birthdays, Christmas, etc.):
“I was going to buy her a bike.
But then she would just peddle it all over town.”
