Gingrich is an awesome debater. I loved how he shot down King. Too bad he’s proved himself immature and incapable as a leader.----

You are right. Gingrich is and always has been, a statesman. He really has no patience with political silliness and is bad at leading the way today's wishy washy politicians do where they straddle both sides of the fence. I don't think that is bad, but it has not made him popular. He makes mistakes, and has paid for them. He will pay again for being a hardhead and not taking advice well. Unfortunately that is his drawback. But, on ideas, on being clear and concise, and being determined...he deserves much admiration. I have always admired him and wish he could have combined his brilliance with a bit more tolerance for other's input. We need statesmen today...not professional politicians.

CNN is the host of this debate; it’s theirs. Like the Fox debate in May, and others to follow. That’s the way it’s always worked.

Bachmann, Cain and Santorum are the best ones tonight for me. Of the three going with Bachmann, but Santorum is better than I expected. Wish Palin were around just to hear what she’d say. But I would also want Rick Perry in as well.

Opinions vary on the number of ileagals here. I have debated this on here for years. It’s somewhere between 9 and 45 million.

I think Pawlenty is a very good candidate. I think the audience in New Hampshire is evidence of the migration from Massachusetts.
