Michele Bachmann
Bachmann is serving her 3rd full term in the U.S. House. Founder of the House Tea Party Caucus, she earned a Master of Laws degree, worked as a tax attorney, and was a foster mother for 23 teenagers. She is a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
Herman Cain
Cain is the former chief executive of Godfather's Pizza and former chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He lost the Georgia Republican primary for a U.S. Senate seat in 2004. He was recently the host of Atlanta-based radio show.
Newt Gingrich
Gingrich served as the 58th Speaker of the United States House of Representatives from 1995 to 1999. He represented Georgia's 6th congressional district as a Republican member from 1979 to 1999. He has a PhD in modern European history.
Ron Paul
Paul is serving his 11th full term in the U.S. House. He’s an obstetrician-gynecologist and was the Libertarian nominee for president in 1988. He unsuccessfully sought the Republican nomination for president in 2008
Tim Pawlenty
Pawlenty served two terms as governor of Minnesota, from 2002 to 2010. He served in the Minnesota House from 1992 until 2002. He is the son of a truck driver.
Mitt Romney
Romney was the 70th Governor of Massachusetts (2003 to 2007) and former CEO of Bain Capital, a private equity investment firm. He unsuccessfully sought the Republican nomination for president in 2008. He has an MBA (Harvard) and JD (Harvard Law).
Rick Santorum
Santorum served two terms in the U.S. House and two terms in the U.S. Senate. He became the Senate's third-ranking Republican in 2001. He was defeated for reelection in 2006.

With all the media’s tricks in these debates, and with so many candidates, it takes time and WORK to actually sit and listen to these candidates and to get to know them. I want ALL of them there — NOW. We need all the time in debates we can get, with all of them.

Cain asked about his "no Muslim in the Cabinet" comment. He brings up the issue of attempting to bring Sharia law into US courts in NJ and (?) OK. King presses and completely mischaracterizes what Cain just said as being blanket bigotry against Muslims.
Romney asked a followup, appeals to religious tolerance.
Newt jumps in. He mentions the history of Nazis and Communist attempts to infiltrate our government and that efforts to stop that were controversial then too. He also mentioned the Time Square bomber's answer to the judge when asked "why did you do this after swearing a loyalty oath" and the terrorist said, "You are my enemy. I lied."
Cain asked "deep dish" or "thin crust" and answered "Deep dish."

Yeah hes slick. Romney will say anything to look conservative. If he wins the nomination he will sell us all out in about 20 minutes.
All of them would run circles around Obama in a fair debate.
All of these folks know what they are talking about.
They can elaborate and don’t just rely on memorized answers.
I’d rather have any of them in the WH right now!
