Good morning rodguy911.
Just look at the ones doing it...LOL.
Likely the same old, same old, Ed Rollins groupies, yes?
America is a Christian nation and the freedoms we have come from Christian values and principles. Take Christianity away from America and soon Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness will also be gone (as we see being phased out now).
People get confused about the "free exercise" of religion and Congress not "establishing religion." This confusion is encouraged by the liberals who love confusion and have used the Jeffersonian metaphor to trump the U.S. Constitution itself, because the liberals HATE the Constitution and HATE your freedom.
The "establishment of religion" is Congress ("the state") interfering with religion. The church may want the state to establish a church or not, it doesn't matter. Congress is constitutionally prohibited from doing so. Period. However, the free exercise of religion should be in every nook and cranny inside and outside Washington D.C. and everywhere else. The monuments in that great city testify against the lies about Christianity in government. Our country grew up and thrived with Christian practice all over the government. And the Constitution prohibits any interference with the free exercise of religion anywhere, as long as it is a peaceful exercise.
The Christian church, Gods people, has the means of helping and healing nations. Revelation 22:2 presents a symbolic picture of the benefits of God's people, the Church, in government when it shows that the leaves of the tree of life, symbolically found in God's people, the Bride, the Church, heal the nations.
Really?
Ha ha ha.
Well, that settles it, then.
And you accuse others of making statements they don’t back up with anything.
The irony is delicious.
Tell us, while we’re on the subject of your accusation against Michele, what are Pawlenty, Cain and Santorum running for, if Michele has only one objective for running??
Oh, but Michele is the devil, I forgot.
You have to be right! It’s Tampa baby September 12, 2011 the date was announced!!!!
WOO-HOO!!!
Out of 1200 posts, yours is the most cogent. As Rush would say, RIGHT ON, right on!
Where in the constitution does it give the president the power to make an executive order that has the same legal weight as a law passed by Congress?
You are arguing that the president has been given dictatorial powers by the Constitution.
The only power the President has is to give an executive order to enforce the laws passed by congress. Any other use of an executive order would run contrary to the Constitution.
They are controversial because they allow the President to make major decisions, even law, without the consent of Congress.
I can't believe I am reading this on FREE REPUBLIC.
Ron Paul jumped on the band wagon by mentioning he brought 4000 babies into the world.
Ron Paul jumped on the band wagon by mentioning he brought 4000 babies into the world.
Your absoltely right, LLS!
Sarah Palin knows precisely what she’s doing, and those of us who closely follow her also know that she’s always 1000 steps or miles ahead of everyone else.
Patience, and wait SHOCK & AWESOME.
Virtually all for public consumption polls are designed to INFLUENCE public opinion and not to measure it!
There ARE honest polls but the public rarely, if ever, sees the results.
Busted again!
Pissant would be proud of you!
Got anything except invectives and insults?
BTW I'm 9 and 1/2. I won't be Ten until November.
There are a lot of sites teeming with hatred for Palin if you don't like it here because of the respect and admiration shown her.
You know, Palinbots and Palinistas.
Hey, vote for me. I fostered 23 children and introduced a bill. Give me a flipping break. She had not demonstrated any ability to lead and produce results in an executive setting. All the regurgitated shallow sound bites in the world will change that fact.
If by some cruel, twist of fate she would happen to be the last person standing, I would hold my nose and vote for her; with the expectation that her presidency will be an unmitigated disaster.
What you say is very close to what I believe about polling.
Actually your statement here.... “Virtually all for public consumption polls are designed to INFLUENCE public opinion and not to measure it!”
I agree with that 250%, spot on.
You may also be right about there being honest polls, but the public rarely,if ever see them.
Just that I believe (the phony public polls that we do agree on as being phony) that these media polls actually do influence people, advertising works, at least on the masses, so that if a genuine honest pollster wants to get a true picture, even his poll will be reflective of the bias public media pollsters.
This just happens to be a subject that I believe quite deeply about, a pet peeve shall we say.
And for full disclosure I am 100% in the tank for Gov Palin, but I have held this same view of polling prior to even hearing of Gov Palin.
And just watch, we will see a huge surge in the public media polls for Michelle Bachmann in the coming days and weeks, and make no mistake this will be a push by the MSM/Rep establishment polling, and will probably help MB.
So phony polls have the ability to become reality.
I meant to type "president" there. I only wish he was just a governor! Illinois can have him!
EXCELLENT POST!!!!
I see Impy copied you on another thread giving the reasons for not waiting any longer.
You two need to come to some kind of agreement.
:)
Yea, lets go with the cookie cutter approach, make all the candidates look and sound the same.
Bachmann isn't the elitist form of sophistication, and neither is Palin.
If you want that, go with the GOP pick Romney.
Your comment, I’m sorry to say, is incoherent. I haven’t a clue what an old western TV show has to do with the topic at hand. Snarky??? What’s snarky about stating facts from the Constitution? If you got a problem with it, say so.
