OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP)
(Excerpt) Read more at theblaze.com ...
The Olympian is so saturated with left wing assumptions that it can’t imagine another point of view. The town and county used to have some industry besides state government, but that is no longer the case, environmentalists have driven nearly everything out. The lead article in today’s edition was about Evergreen State College commencement, the speaker being Angela Davis.
Good stuff
Are you getting the feeling that the Republicans in WA are getting ready to endorse Mitt Romney? What’s going on in your part of the state?
Never heard of it. Sounds very interesting. When I started no one had ballistic vests.
Here’s a part of my conversation with my retired LEO buddy;
“Many years ago, I read a book by John Brunner. It was either “Stand
on Zanzibar” or “The Sheep Look up.” In it, the police wore gloves
made from “Karatand,” just a made up fabric by the writer. I was
intrigued by the possibilities, and tried to figure out a way to
accomplish what Karatand did. Basically, it stayed soft and flexible
until an officer slugged somebody,,, then it became hard as a rock.
I realized this could be done by putting pockets of Silly Putty onto
the gloves in the “impact” area of one’s fist. Gloves would have to
be fairly well-padded, but it would be like getting hit with a brick.
That got me interested in Non-Newtonian fluids, and colloidal
fluids. It was fun watching the Mythbusters experiment with them!”
It would be quite a spectacle if some Pubbie running for prez would highlight all the leftist violence, intimidation, and outright nasty talk for the last forty to fifty years. None of them ever do that.
See my post #65
Exactly. An example true anarchists would be the fur trappers of the 19th century. They had no political agenda and subscribed to no ideology. They didn't want to control anyone else and refused to be controlled by anyone. They didn't stay where laws and rules were enforced by others and try to change things. They left and went where no one claimed control over them.
These so-called anarchists are the exact opposite. They want the most rigid statism possible applied to enforce their leftist view of communistic equality.
I think that is what Ann Coulter’s new book does.
I messed up. See my post # 65
Actually,3A kevlar will stop 12 gauge buckshot. So aim for the head or lower body.
If the anarchists start turning on the photographers, it could be a good sign that they’re losing.
Nice, but Coulter isn’t running for president. The general public has a picture of all violence and nasty talk as being some sort of a right-wing phenomenon. The left is just a little boisterous at times, BUT THEY MEAN WELL... as the drones in the press are all more than willing to tell us. The fact is, if there are windows broken, cars vandalized, speakers shouted down, it will be something the left did.
>>That quote is actually attributed to someone else....<<
That is why I was careful to be vague... :)
Tweet and internet!
Just being helpful....
It is the Anarchist Spring.
The anarchist have been in the Pacific Northwest for some time now. They hit Seattle pretty hard during the WTO and they team up with the Earth liberation and other left wing Wackos animal liberation hitting logging companies etc same crowd!
