Anarchists are not leftists..they are against any government right or left.

Incorrect. Anarchists are extreme leftists, who buy into the doctrine that at the end-stage of communism, "government will whither away".

What they are against is government protection of private property. Anarchists are in favor of mob rule, with the anarchist elite being in control of the mob. They want the mob to have all the power, and for there to be no defense against mob action.

I don’t get these anarchists. Do they even have a coherent ideology? What do they do when they’re not “protesting” against the forces of evil? Serve fair trade coffee to people?

Not necessarily true. They do tend to hate free market capitalism and want equality in outcome, hate American traditional views/think America is more bad then good, have Utopian views of humanity being born “good” then becoming “bad” via society, and alley themselves with Marxists who pretty much define how far left you can possibly go. I don't know if that's how the dictionary it, but that seems to be the gist of what I find Anarchists to be. Noam Chomsky defines himself as an anarchist.
