Exclusive: Weiner's Messages to Teenage Girl in Delaware Draw Police Attention

DEVELOPING: NEW CASTLE, Del. -- Police on Friday afternoon came to the home of a 17-year-old high school junior to ask her about direct online communications she has had with Rep. Anthony Weiner. Two officers from the New Castle County Police Department arrived at the girl's home around 4:30 p.m. and asked to speak with the girl's mother about the daughter's contact with Weiner. Another officer appeared at the home a short time later. A FoxNews.com reporter was at the home when the police arrived. The girl, whose name is being withheld because she is a minor, told FoxNews.com, "I'm doing OK." The police left the home after about 30 minutes, followed by the daughter and mother, who left in a separate car. It was not clear if the mother and daughter were going to continue the conversation with police at another location. Sources close the student said the girl followed Weiner on Twitter after seeing him speak during a school trip to Washington on April 1. Weiner direct-messaged the girl back on April 13, the sources said, though it is not clear what other communication the two may have had between or after those dates.

Let’s also be honest here. Leaving aside the underage girl issue for the time being - is there a doubt in any sane person’s mind that this didn’t involve government phones, computers, VPN lines, servers, etc.? I say no way. If the guy is stupid enough to have done what he’s already admitted to, then he’s surely stupid enough to have crossed that line.
Now you throw in under aged girls - he’s in a hell of a mess.

Actually this is bad for our side —it’s best if he stayed in office as a wounded beast, thrashing around and damaging others in his same camp.
I’d say there’s a 90% chance this police action was initiated by someone on their side, and it’s in fact for political reasons.
They’re trying to make sure Weiner is not around to be the face of the Democratic Party for the next Prez election.
