The idea of choosing sexual orientation is absurd.

I’d like Mr. Cain to tell us about the day he chose his sexual orientation. That’s a big decision. I’m sure he remembers. Tell us about it. How did he decide? What precipitated the decision?

Perhaps you aren’t acquainted with the difference in an act and an urge. There is no law that says anyone must act on all their urges. At least, unless you are a liberal.

What precipitated his decision? Well the first thing that comes to mind is hardware. Beyond that common sense.

The idea of choosing sexual orientation is absurd.

What is absurd is to assume any deviant sexual behavior is genetically caused rather than environmentally caused.

There are plenty of former homosexuals that have had their natural heterosexuality restored after some sort of psychological trauma that perverted.

The idea of choosing sexual orientation is absurd.

Please. So one can be genetically predestined to jam their sausage into another man's bung hole? That is the very definition of absurd.

One chooses to commit sodomy the same as one chooses to pick their nose. Or are you telling me that nose-picking is genetically pre-programed as well?

One may not choose to be sexually confused, but that is a different issue entirely from being "gay".

The idea of choosing sexual orientation is absurd.

In terms of who you are attracted to, yes, but how you act on the attraction is a different story entirely. For instance, I will say that people are not naturally monogamous in terms of their attractions, including those who are straight. However, whether or not they remain monogamous in their behavior is a choice. Or another one is pre-marital sex. Yes, any given person can be attractive, but it is a decision or a choice to commit the behaviors before the weeding has occurred.

I feel the main point is being missed.
