"...Christie said. It also meets our goal of making sure government is out of the broadcasting business. In my view that should have ended with the Soviet Union. Its ending here in New Jersey a little later than the fall of the wall in Berlin, but were getting there."

Christie 2012!
ZULU in #9 has Christie down pat with a solid point by point. There is no reason to want this Rove backed stooge to run for anything higher than where he is right now. He has been a Rove flunky ever since he was a US Attorney.

Mr. Robinson. What is your understanding regarding Mr. Christie's opinion of abortion as well as his stand on illegal immigration?
What is YOUR opinion...or are you waiting to be told what to think?
Furthermore you can take your Yankee RINOs and stick them...
And since he’s not running for anything higher, your “concern” is irrelevant.
And maybe it will prevent Christie from changing his RINO mind.
You believing he is not running is silly. He is making regular appearances in Iow. He was just there again this weekend. He also has a team of people behind the scene hyping a Christie candidacy. Mark Levin has sited all the places this is being done on his radio program.
People like myself who bring up what a Progressive loser Christie is are just informing people where ever we can so that when the inevitable run happens, people will already be informed that he is no better than Mittens.
Yeah, he’s a progressive, L0L. I think he’s the best governor we’ve ever had since I’ve been alive. I hope he stays here and gets re-elected.
He’s not running. You believing otherwise is silly.
And EVERY politician CLAIMS they are NOT running.
If he wasn't running, WHY would he meet PERSONALLY out of such a busy schedule with a bunch of money guys from Iowa?
I will CONTINUE to post FACTS about Mr. Christie's positions on this forum WHENEVER somebody presents an article that appears to be running interference for this guy.
His views are as inimicable to those of the Founder of this Forum as are those of Julie-Annie.
“I think hes the best governor weve ever had since Ive been alive. “
In New Jersey, that doesn’t say much. But I agree with you about him staying there. I don’t want him in Washington, and, unfortunately, he is probably the best New Jersey can expect.
New Jersey public television is/was strictly a propaganda arm of the NJ teachers union.
Did you say the state has no business in broadcasting?
I just wanted to clarify that.
Best in the last 50 years is saying something, no matter where you are.
Chris Christie is the best governor New Jersey had since Meyner. But that doesn’t mean he is is Presidential material.
Fortunately, New Jersey ISN’T America.
He's campaigned for other candidates before, and I expect he will do so in IA when the time comes. He's a player. But he isn't running. He has said so again and again.
But go ahead and make trouble where there isn't any. As for me, "Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." YMMV.
I don't support him for President either, but let's be reasonable. Christie is a tremendous asset as the Governor of NJ. He has a real flair for articulating his positions, and a backbone that should be cloned and transplanted into our other GOP officials. It's difficult to imagine his state electing a more effective conservative.
Im not ready, Christie responded. Im not....you gotta believe in your heart that you are ready to walk into the Oval Office and to lead the nation. And I dont feel like Im ready, he continued.
So you can quit panting.
