Conservative columnist Ann Coulter hearts former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
Shes fabulous, Coulter said during an interview Tuesday on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight."
She is a big star. Shes virtually the biggest thing on the planet.
But Coulter cautioned the potential presidential candidate about setting her sights on the White House.
I wouldnt [run for president] if I were in her shoes, she said. I think it would be the worst job imaginable, both running and holding the office.
And for one already-declared candidate, Coulter has changed her tune - slightly.
She praised one GOP contender and put down another in one swipe at February's Conservative Political Action Conference, saying, If you dont run Chris Christie, Romney will be the nominee and well lose. But the conservative firebrand now admits to having warmer feelings for the former governor of Massachusetts, who recently announced his bid for the presidency.
I now think the economy is such a disaster and Obama has such a glass jaw that we might even win with Romney. And Romney isnt a disaster
I like him.

Coulter has a glitch in the software. If Obama is really weak, why wouldn’t conservatives aim for a Reagan-type? Why settle for another RINO, when we know that Obama is all but unelectable if the economy continues on its present course? Something is amiss with sis. (Check the tagline on your way out.)
“Her love affair with RINO’s makes her look Elitist, stupid, or both”.
...my thoughts exactly. Could it be she sells more books when she plays to the dopey RINO lovers?
Unfortunately, there is no complex explanation of the sort that would redeem Coulter.
Fortunately though, we’re all capable of recognizing when someone we once trusted has become UNTRUSTWORTHY.
Read her book "Going Rogue." That book tells her campaign story where RINOs declared her as being rogue; and it also reveals how Sarah cleaned house -- RINOs included -- while serving as Governor of Alaska

She is a GO Proud supporter too.
I think she is gay.
There was no need for your addition to the article’s title. Ann Coulter does not have a “love affair” with RINOs. Coulter is a good conservative. She’s a strong voice for the conservative movement.
She praised Sarah Palin. Just because she thinks we can win even with Romney as the nominee doesn’t mean he’s her first choice. It means that Obama is so weak right now that EVEN Myth could take down BO.
Ann Coulter IS NOT stupid and is NOT an elitist.
Being the most powerful person in the world would be a “horrible job” for Palin, who she supposedly “loves.” LOL!
But it would be a great job for Chris Christie.
This makes no sense at all!
We KNOW from years of reading and listening to Ann that she’s very smart. She wants to win. She said in 2008 that she’d vote for Hillary to make a point that she didn’t like McCain.
Stop trying to make everything TOO simple. People are not automatically RINOs and true conservatives, etc. Ann is a true conservative, and she’s smart. She likes Sarah, but I think more than supporting one candidate she wants to win most of all.
I heart Sarah as FULLY as humanly possible because I believe she’s the Deborah of our time, but let’s not bash (even though I dislike and don’t trust Romney) other Republicans too much. Remember that we had to vote for McCain last time? I hate that we have to do something like that, but it is a very real possibility that we have to vote for someone we don’t like vs having Obama until 2016 (shudder).
She thinks that being president would be unpleasent for the woman, and wants a man in there.
Sounds like a female crab, clawing to keep women from high office.
From the article:
The problem with Romney that a lot of people have, people like me, conservatives, is Romneycare. I still think hell probably be the nominee unless Christie jumps in, she said. ~Ann Coulter
She was born in New York, raised in Connecticut and graduated from Cornell. As a Texan, and in my opinion, those appear to be traits of a Northeastern elitist.
It's also interesting that as she approaches the age of 50, she's never married. I am NOT implying anything untoward about her by that latter statement aside from noting that most Christian Conservative women from the heartland of America have married and had children by that age.
For all of her intelligence and wit, it appears that Ann Coulter just doesn't authentically live the life of those of us in flyover country. The contrasts between her and Sarah Palin are self-evident, IMHO.
Christie would be good, but he’d be open to the same criticism that hampered Palin — only been a governor for a short time.
Then you have to consider how many NYC media types would be digging through his trash. If they could get people to do it in Alaska against an overwelmingly popular governor, they’ll do it a couple of magnitudes worse in an evenly divided state like New Jersey. I’d still like to see it, however.
You missunderstood.
I’m not referring to her compliment of Palin. I’m referring to her support of Romney and Christie.
Your reply really caught me off guard.
We know that!Thank God!
People who constantly whine about “Rinos” are not interested in winning the 2012 election and are in effect campaigning for Obama. To paraphrase Mitch Daniels’ speech from a few months ago, we should not be interested in standing in the ruins of our Republic and shouting “I told you so” to more moderate republicans. The stakes are too high. Every potential candidate should be evaulated on one basis only - “Would this person be less destructive than Obama.”
Because Ann has an “elitist Inside-the-DC-Beltway/NYC/LACA” “Lawyer” bent. Also I think that there is Jealousy of what type of normal life Sarah has and Ann know her Bio. Clock is spinning down quickly and her prospects are dwindling.
Ann dear, Isn’t that Sarah’s decision to make, not yours.
I'm sorry, Ann, but you're just flat-out wrong about Mitt. He would be a disaster of monumental proportions for the country, if he were elected, due to the fact that he's basically a Democrat in Republican's clothing.
That, coupled with your advice to Sarah Palin to not run, is a double whammy against your credibility as a conservative spokeswoman.
You can keep that copy of your new book that I might have bought.
