People who constantly whine about “Rinos” are not interested in winning the 2012 election and are in effect campaigning for Obama. To paraphrase Mitch Daniels’ speech from a few months ago, we should not be interested in standing in the ruins of our Republic and shouting “I told you so” to more moderate republicans. The stakes are too high. Every potential candidate should be evaulated on one basis only - “Would this person be less destructive than Obama.”
Some standard. I would think on a conservative website we would seek better than that.
What you said.
If that's the only bar our nominee has to hurdle, then even Mitt will work, in your opinion.
I'm afraid that our nominee needs to meet a much, MUCH higher bar, in order to save this republic from ruin.

IOW, who is the lesser of two evils. No thanks. The lesser of two evils is still evil, and not a friend of conservatism.
A RINO might well be as destructive as Obama because Congressional Republicans (and right wing media) tend to lie down for RINO's.
