Veteran Republican campaign strategist Ed Rollins, who signed on to steer Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann's looming presidential bid, said his recent criticism of Sarah Palin is not part of an electoral strategy.

But the former CNN contributor said he needs to adjust from "being a political analyst back to being a strategist."
"I don't think Palin runs and if she does we will deal with it. There obviously is a trend in the media to link them," Rollins told CNN. "In the long run we want Palin and her people as our allies."
In an interview with POLITICO, Rollins said the Bachmann campaign will be "so much more substantive."
"People are going to say, 'I gotta make a choice and go with the intelligent woman who's every bit as attractive,'" Rollins said.

That was better advice then she will ever receive from Ed Rollins.

Bachmann’s choice of Ed Rollins was a mistake, she has to correct her mistake or she loses my support as well, it would seem, the support of many others. Do the right thing Michele before it’s too late.
I support both.
I have been saying for weeks, that the next Republican President was not yet in the race. Whether Palin runs or not, because I am not at all sure just anyone can beat Obama.
How about that 'Fire in her Belly' ? Someone else here told me that was the proof enough a few days ago.
My opinion two days ago would have been that Michele wouldn’t do that. Now, I’m not even sure what side Michele is actually on. I honestly don’t have any idea how Michele would behave in a debate at this point.
Horrid judgment on her part to even hire Rollin's and now she's had a chance to fire him and hasn't. That's crosses Bachmann off my list.

Bus tour and political movie are evidence she may run.
The comment from Sarah about having the fire in the belly to run and the comment from Todd, that the family would be ready if Palin decides to run are both evidence that she may run.
Hiring a new foreign policy advisor and a chief of staff are evidence that she may run.
Next time simply ask what my reasons are.
Anyway, as I said, I don't know if Palin will run, but there is plenty of evidence that shows that she might.
Yes she will. It is campaign and primary time. This is what people do when they have primaries coming up. Or have you forgotten?
That said, neither one of these women are candidates. So right now, neither will win.
I used to... no more. bachmann can go back to work for carter... take her hubby with her too for all that I care. I have zero tolerance for this type of republican politics... romney politics... never again.
