Everyone has already had a grand old time mocking this video of Sarah Palin bungling her Paul Revere history, but I actually think it amounts to quite an eloquent statement. Its as eloquent an argument as anyone could make that this woman really should not be treated by any of us as anything resembling a presidential candidate until its absolutely necessary which is to say, until she actually runs for president.

My problem isn’t the whole overtly gun control spin on the basic story (and the fact that he wasn’t warning the British he was warning the Colonists) but the rambling conjunctions.
My problem is that it sounded like Sasquatch’s speech pattern “.......and....and....and.....”. I cringe when I hear that.
She would have been better off wowing her audience by quoting the first part of the “Midnight Ride of Paul Revere” that we used to learn in school.
“In my world the sun doesnt rise and set on Sarah Palin.”
I see you are very “concerned”. Don’t you have something more important to be “concerned” about?
Revere did warn the British that they would be able to take the arms of the colonial militia. He did this after they captured him, so that they would either release him or turn back to Boston.
The Battle of Lexington and Concord was all about maintaining the right to bear arms as a militia. The British marched to seize those arms. The colonists refused to allow it. Palin was right in everything she said!
Thanks for re-posting that.
You are very welcome. Retired Intelligence Officer, really did some great work on that post.
Unless the quote was inaccurate, the response was at best completely garbled.
Just to make what I am saying clearer:
He who warned, uh, the British that they werent gonna be takin away our arms, uh, by ringin those bells and, um, makin sure as hes ridin his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that, uh, we were gonna be secure and we were gonna be free.
If this is what she said, she was almost speaking like Miss South Carolina. We all have bad days, but, because I would like her to do well, I wish she would work harder at preparing so that she doesn’t occasionally give the MSM rope to hang herself with.
Bitter Liberals? Really. NAAAWWW!
I honestly cannot add a word to what you said.
Rock ‘n roll, Buddy. Cover my flank if needed. Appreciate that...
May God bless you and protect your familly.
I was responding to a poster who claimed that Palin has TWO DECADES of executive experience. You did not refute that. Do you understand what DECADE is? It is a span of TEN YEARS. Two decades would amount to TWENTY YEARS.
Does Sarah Palin have TWENTY YEARS of “successful” executive experience? The answer seems to be NO. Therefore, the claim made by alstewartfan was false.
She was a Wasilla council member from ‘92-96. In *’96* she became mayor. So it’s 15 years with significant executive experience. Read her wikipedia story, and it’s quite impressive. Sorry, however, I was wrong. Bob
